Came to check out possible water leak Looked at water…read moreheater took a picture And nothing else It took my handyman to come to ID where the leak from coming from A line on the water softner. He fixed in 15. Minutes . This week, over a month later I get a bill from Countyside for really not doing a thing for $146. Something they ne er said they would charge up front for looking at. When I do need a new water heater I will buy somewhere else !

Sad customer service I called today 09/26/24 to discuss a hot water heater they installed. My wife…read moretold me she thought she smelt gas coming from the hot water heater, I came home today and went down to check for myself and yes there is a gas smell present. I called countryside as they were who I trusted to install the hot water heater. I spoke with some gal and explained to her that we are smelling gas from the hot water tank she said ok put me on hold for 10min.... She comes back to say that they can't send anyone out til Monday I told her that was BS and that it's a gas leak they can send someone now. She then sends me to Mike I then explain to him the same thing and that it's bullshit to have to wait til Monday for a gas leak he then laughs at me and says if I swear again he is going to end the call I ended up getting furious with him said some words and ended the call for him hey Mike what if this was your home with children you gonna wait til Monday POS So I reached out to another company who will be here in 30 minutes not days I do not recommend this company they over charge for everything and there customer service is shit you mean a lot to them until the sale is done not the way you do business Update Xcel came out and for your company's information I have had a gas leak at the water heater control valve for almost a year now thank you for your quality install and putting my family at risk we are now done with this company we don't take playing with our lives lightly They say a faulty part from manufacture or could it have been one to many turns at the time of install and was cracked And coincidentally my wife's business had same issue we tried this business several times and now we're moving on I appreciate the phone call though trying to get me to remove my review but maybe if you guys didn't treat a gas leak as a laughing matter I would been a little easier

Deceptive, inaccessible & Scam company. Timeline of…read moreservices: Never hire this company as it is deceptive trade practices with customers and operates in a highly shaddy and directly inaccessible manner. The following text will show you that very clearly: January 17, 2024. - The heat in the house suddenly stopped working, in the afternoon at 1392 Sandhurst Dr W, Roseville, MN 55113. - I called the company for one hour service, and tech Jeff Hrdilchka arrived and looked at the heating system. After diagnostics, he told us that he found the high limit switch tripped and heat stopped working. He said he bypassed the switch and put on the heat temporarily. He further said that he will order the switch and most likely it will be installed tomorrow, January 18. We paid the full fee, for the part work done. - We fell for the company gimmick and enrolled in the club membership for best and efficient services, and paid money by credit card. Interestingly, the club form has no fee mentioned and has no email contact info. January 22, 2024. - No show and no updates on the switch until this day. So I called the company and the person looked in the system, and found that no switch had been ordered and there were no updates. She told me that she will have the manager call me. - Nothing happened. January 23, 2024. - Received a call with no updates, or reasons for delay, or even a courtesy apology. - Instead, now the company wanted to send another tech to diagnose the heating system and charge an additional $69.00. I scheduled it for January 25. - I received 2 calls just to confirm the appointment and nothing else. January 25, 2024. - the tech Erin arrived and told us that she will look again at the heating problem because the earlier tech Jeff was "new" and is "on leave." She said she wanted to find the "root of the problem," but never mentioned about the switch or about a 5 days delay. - Expectedly, after the diagnosis, she found "a lot of problems." Obviously, the furnace is quite old and she handed us the estimates for about $ 3600.00. Trying to be "so nice", she said she can get me a new furnace for about the same amount and can have the sales person come here "quickly," in a couple hours. - While leaving she said "oh by the way, due to a danger and her licensing requirement," she has to shut the heat indicating that we can turn it on after she leaves. She also "waived" the diagnostic fee. - Shortly after, Ben Jass arrived and after looking around, gave us the three estimates for the new furnace: $ 5096, $ 6125 and $ 7647. He was eager to know how soon we can have it installed and we said we will consider it in a day or so. He also declined to turn the heat on, upon being requested. - We turned the heat on but it did not work and the temperature kept going down and home started to get really chilly. - We were scrambling to call Erin, but conveniently, her phone was nowhere on any of the paperwork prepared by her. - We called Ben, the sales person, and he expressed his inability to do anything and talked to Erin who said the same thing. - We found out later on that the heat won't turn because "someone [Erin] left a wire unconnected" and after connecting the wire the heat was turned on. - I told Ben that how can we trust the company for thousands of dollars in this scenario, and hence won't be reviewing his sale offers. He quipped "that is ok." In these circumstances, I request the company to refund all the amount it has received from us promptly, because of deficient services and deceptive practices. Otherwise, we will be forced to report all this to appropriate legal institutions, BBB, and social media. And I will wait for no delay in acknowledgement from the person in the company in charge of dealing with such deficient services and deceptive practices. gurdhyan singh [Subsequent to that, they still shamelessly keep calling and texting to make appointments, and have not responded directly at all to my messages for full refund or refunded my money.] gurdhyan singh

A few years ago I hired Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to install a dryer. They came out, got it…read moreinstalled quickly and everything seemed great. Until about a year later I started noticing a faint gas smell on my clothes. I called the gas company to come out and check things out and they found the gas connection to my dryer was loose and slowly leaking gas. -1 point for Benjamin, but I didn't bother with a review because things happen and who knows if it somehow worked it's way loose. Then a few years later I have a vent cleaner out to clean the vent and you know what he tells me? The dang vent isn't even connected to the outside! All this lint has been collecting in my ceiling all this time. Can anyone say FIRE HAZARD? Then said vent cleaner started laughing at the electrical tape that Benjamin used on the dryer vent. When I told him it was Benjamin Franklin that installed it he said "not surprised - they have a horrible reputation." So basically... Ben tried to gas me And then start my house on fire Lucky I'm still here
