Our bathroom sink had a leak and my handy husband was not able to repair it. We called Boldt Plumbing. Logan was our technician. He arrived on time, which is very important to us. He introduced himself right away and he was very pleasant, easy to talk to and made sure we understood the situation. He was quick, efficient, and seemed very knowledgeable. Third time I called for service, first time I was disappointed. No phone call or note upon arriving home, so I wasn't sure if anything had been done that day. Also, the scary pipe banging I called about is still there. Sounds like it is about to rip through my wood floors every time it happens... I will fix that myself. Then three nights ago the drain setting in my sink - that I had them install - popped right off. Don't think that is supposed to happen... I will fix that myself, too. Had Boldt's plumber install a new Bradford White electric water heater. The next day I ran out of hot water. Boldt's sent a furnace tech to troubleshoot the issue and this tech tells me there is nothing wrong. Boldt's will not call me back. New water heater is still not working. I am afraid they are not experienced and get an F, for customer service, politeness, and satisfaction. read more

Our air conditioner was not pushing cold air out on Sunday. I called Boldt's monday morning and they had a team at my home that afternoon. They identified the problem (bad capacitor), replaced the part (they had the part on hand) and described what they did all in under 15 mins. I work at a restaurant who had Boldt's fix the oven. The pilot light kept going out. Even after they "fixed" it, the pilot light kept going out. We have used Boldts Plumbing to install our HVAC units 10 years ago and further installed a boiler ( past 4 years) for use in our in floor heat. Since installing these units we've learned several things about their workmanship. First, the wiring to the thermostat was not complete. They didn't use a full wire and spliced two pieces together. They in turn left one wire unspliced which we now need to up date the thermostat to a wifi unit. I called and talked to the owner Dale, let him know their shortfall years ago, they left the job undone. He was short tempered and after a short conversation hung up on me. What I didn't get to tell him was that when they also installed the boiler they didn't seal all the joints in the copper tubing which left our system leaking and eventually ran low on water and burned out a $1000 pump. They came back to fix it and eventually fixed the leaks but all at their full rate and thousands of dollars later. I'm amazed they are still in business. read more
