This business has closed and there is a for sale sign for the building. While I have nothing else to add this app is making me type more.

WTF?? This was the absolutely worst retail experience I have ever encountered. I went into the store on Saturday June 6th. Entered the store looking to buy Nulo brand dog food. Waited and waited, rang the little bell, no one ever showed up. We literally could have robbed the store blind, finally, after continuing to ding the little bell over and over again, a sullen teenage girl walked up to the counter and started to ring up my items. I asked her if she could recommend anything for dog skin allergies, she said " I dunno". Ok, so much for this place being a specialty pet store. She was silent during my entire checkout, handed me my receipt without so much as a thank you or a kiss my ...... who ever owns this place needs to do a better job at hiring and training their employees!! read more

This little pet store has lots of food, treats, toys, some birds, ferrets and reptiles with supplies needed to care for them and helpful staff. I found what I was looking for here (I came here in search of Greenies - they had lots of flavors) and enjoyed looking at their toy selection. The staff was friendly and helpful and they helped us find a dog park in Cody. They, with the help of a friendly local, got a map out and showed us exactly where and how to get to said park. I was happy to find a pet store in Cody so I didn't have to go in search of Greenies elsewhere. read more

We called before driving 45 miles to make sure they were open. The guy that answered said they would be there until 6pm. So we drove to Cody, arrived at around 3:30 they were closed. The Closed sign said they would return at 2:45. It was 3:30... All the signs in the door said they were open until 6 pm. I called to check the hours, their answering machine said they were open until 6 pm. They also gave an alternate number to call, no one would answer that phone either. I sent a message on facebook and gave them a week to respond before posting here on Yelp. No one ever did. I feel with the "push" to support local, this is not the way to treat customer wanting to business. I again will have to go to Billings to do my business. read more

I bought a ferret from cody pet depot and it ended up having a huge growth. The store wouldn't do anything about it even though they claim they'd replace any 'damaged' animals. I won't be wasting money there ever again. read more

This store needs to be shut down. The animals are not being taken care of.. I have seen them with out food, empty water bottles, and dirty bedding for multiple days at a time. And a Snake that is probably around a 8ft long in a tank that it can't even stretch out in and barley move around. I am seriously concerned for all animal's safety in that store. read more

This pet store is great. It's always a joy to look at the very well-cared for creatures. The staff, especially the owner, always have smiles on their faces. Occasionally, when they just have a few crickets, they'll just hand em over and say "I'll catch you next time" which they conveniently seem to forget. They have a wonderful selection of products and are always willing to offer advice, if asked. They could use a little more space, but that's kind of what makes it a small-town business. I love this store, and they' will love your business. read more
