I had a whole conversation with the receptionist that day plus obviously have the record of my phone call in my recent calls, as well as in the notes in my phone. The day prior to the scheduled appointment no one called us to remind us of the appointment, which I found odd, so I called on the morning of to confirm. I spoke with Rosa, who says the office has absolutely no record of the appointment I made and even if we had made an appointment, that they would need to reschedule because the doctor would be out of office this week. Note, I am an executive assistant for a living and I have never once had this happen in 6.5+ years of my work so I am not sure how this mishap happened. Also, she neglected to apologize for their mistake and just kept saying they didn't have an appointment for us and that we would need to reschedule. Not awesome...

After FOUR weeks of trying to get an appointment here - they were closed for 2 weeks at…read morethe end of the year, but this wasn't mentioned anywhere in the phone messages or online AND they're closed on Fridays - the first question isn't "how can we help you" - it is, "What insurance do you have." While I understand the business needs of an office probably better than most, this is absolutely not how you talk to other humans. I was rudely informed that this provider does not see anyone with an HMO, but this could have all been different. I have a written referral to this provider. And while I get that contracts change all the time, that's no reason to abuse someone who calls seeking care that you cannot provide. There are plenty of other providers out there and, hopefully, they've hired staff who can do better.

I was told my condition is chronic and that I "have to learn to live with it". I knew from self-education that there were more tests and treatment options available. Nothing is truly more healing than seeing a provider who is professional, takes their time, spends over an hour with you fully evaluating your case, and gracefully explaining what their thoughts are. I have very clear, reasonable next steps of treatment and I know what to expect next. I will wait as many months as I need to any time I need to see her. She's not just worth it, she's the only doctor I've found who really knows about my condition. I have hEDS, and it is SO rare to find someone who understands the entire picture of how this disease impacts the GI. I could cry happy tears. She's putting me on track to have quality of life again.

To say I was even questioning whether I had been through it when I woke up because I felt nothing is an understatement. Colonoscopy can be very uncomfortable and scary at the same time. She made sure I was at ease and comfortable before we started and she did such an amazing job! I would recommend her to anyone needing a procedure especially if you get nervous or anxious. She will set your mind at ease and she was so gentle I felt nothing even after I woke up. Which usually I would wake up sore , with cramps, and full of air with a bloated stomach. I confirmed both text message and email on 5/1/2022. when I came over at my appointment time, the office is closed without any notice, so I called the office line, the operator didn't explain anything, just asked me to come back one week later. On 5/9/2022, this time I didn't receive any scheduling and confirmation message so I called office ahead of time and confirmed the appointment through the phone. When I came before the procedure , I was asked to speak to their billing manager to discuss the bill. To tell the truth I think the consultation fee was way too high (It is even more expensive than one time treatment and it was less than three minutes of talking). So I only partially paid the fee and was asking to waive the rest. How I can continue the service with threats. I paid the full bill she asked and left the office without seeing doctor.At that moment the money is not an issue but customer rights is! The whole treatment became a failure.
