It was a super cold night and this was the perfect activity for us. We met our game master (I think it was Brittney) and she was super friendly and energetic. She really helped to make the room theming and our experience. We found the room to be challenging, but with our previous experience we were able to figure out the clues and escape with about 4 minutes left. We were able to get clues to help us if we felt stuck, but didn't just give us the answer so we could still feel like we accomplished solving the puzzles. This was a larger room and starts splitting into 2 groups so it was fun since we were not sure when it was going to end. Added to the excitement, but also to the stress when time was running out! :-) We would do another room for sure when we are back in the area!

From the moment we walked into the building to the moment we left we had nothing but an amazing time. Kim was our Guide and explained all we needed to know. As we were doing this for the first time we opted for clues and hints to be given. Even with the clues it was challenging enough for us and we had more than a few ah ha moments lol. Our last two family vacations we'd come across places that let small children play for free and since our 5 year old now expects to come too, we had to find a family friendly one. This is by far the most new to escape room friendly place we have ever been to (but still fun for seasoned players too!) Laura was amazing. Our son likes to put on a show and acted like he was the seasoned pro, even though the other places he'd been too with us he'd really just gotten to hang out in the room with us and their wasn't much to do. Before we started, she took the time to show him every type of lock we'd encounter in the room and gave super kid friendly and engaging instructions on how to do them. So this is the first time he really got to truly play with us. There was also plenty in the room that he was able to help find and place in their designated spots to solve puzzles. We will definitely have to check out their other rooms next time we're in the area. Laura really sets the bar for game masters. She is just so welcoming and friendly.

I've actually done all of their rooms, and I've genuinely liked every single one. Each room feels a little different, the puzzles are well thought out, and they're challenging without feeling impossible. It's clear a lot of effort went into the design and flow of the rooms. The staff has always been friendly and helpful as well, which makes the experience even better. The kid room was geared for about 3-4 players but we had a group 7. They also gave a lot of clues to our scouts because they really do want want groups to break out. LOCATION: This escape room is a good option if you want an indoor, non-touristy activity in St. Augustine. The escape room is located about 15-20 minutes south of historic St. Augustine and about 30-40 minutes south of Jacksonville. The easiest route is to take 95 to the SR206 (Crescent Beach/Hastings exit) otherwise you can get stuck with all the lights on US1. The strip is located behind a Walgreens. They offer great group prices if you're looking to have your kids try out an escape room but don't want to drop too much $$. They also let us sneak a peek at the two other escape rooms. Looks fun! BTW - You can celebrate your escape with ice cream at the Cold Cow just two miles up the road (gotta love when you can rely on Yelp to find an ice cream spot when your troop finishes earlier than expected!)

It is listed as an "easy" room but we would recommend you do not sleep on this one. It was well done and we had a great time and this comes from a group that has completed 20+ rooms in different cities. I enjoyed how there is interactive prompts in the rooms and the rooms are set up to feel realistic. Also the clues are just the right amount to feel like it's not a complete giveaway. While we didnt win we came really close to it and only had I believe one last thing left to solve. I ended up buying some tickets for my son and his friends to enjoy today and although it was the difficult wizard room they all really enjoyed it. Apparently it doesn't have the thriller moments of murder in London but it had alot of interesting cool puzzles to solve. The price feels a bit too high but I still give it a neat rating nonetheless.
