Kids are given a lab coat, goggles and a book of experiments to do on their own. The employees clean up and the kids have free reign. It's every budding scientist's dream! Secondly, the employees are SO great with kids. They patiently explain the science behind things, are happy to help you figure out the microscopes and other things. I learned a lot just by being there with my daughter. We've also done the dissection which was very detailed and well guided. We're looking forward to doing a parent's night out and summer camps. My daughter begs to come here daily, which is why we got a membership - open lab is free every day!

My kids enjoyed almost all of them - but little beakers by far was their most favorite!! We went for open lab and I must say that they have set it up so well. It is cool, while it is educational. The kids went crazy doing the science experiment and I didn't have to deal with procuring materials or cleaning the mess afterwards!! They felt like real scientists. All the materials were provided, marked nicely, and the instructions very straightforward. The kids were mostly able to do it all independently (with my supervision). After the experiment, in simple and precise words. I wish we had known about this place earlier, I would have brought my kids 2-3 times in our trip. But definitely visiting them multiple times in the future during every trip to Utah for skiing. If little beakers sees this review - thankyou for the best hour of our entire 2 weeks stay!!

Absolute Chaos and a Total Waste of Money I rarely write…read morereviews, but our experience at Kidstopia was so profoundly disappointing that I feel obligated to warn other parents. We spent $400 for what was supposed to be a seamless, 2-hour birthday celebration, but instead, we received a masterclass in poor management and unprofessionalism. The "Welcome" from Hell We arrived with a party of 40 people for our 12:30 PM start time. Instead of being greeted, we were utterly ignored. Our entire group--including small children, elderly relatives, and guests carrying heavy gifts and cake--was forced to stand in a cramped lobby for 20 minutes. I repeatedly tried to get the attention of the staff, but I was blatantly dismissed. It was clear they were understaffed, but being treated as if we were invisible while we were paying customers is unacceptable. Stolen Time and Rushed Memories By the time they finally processed our waivers and let us into the room, it was nearly 1:00 PM. Despite the fact that the delay was entirely their fault, they gave us no grace period. We lost 25% of our paid time before we even stepped foot in the room. This meant the kids barely got to play before we had to rush through the actual "party" portion. To cap it off, at 2:30 PM sharp, they practically shoved us out the door, forcing us to scramble to pack up our belongings while they loomed over us. Inedible Food & Insulting Service The "amenities" were the most insulting part of the package: * The Food: When we opened the foil on the pizza, we were horrified to find completely raw dough. It wasn't just undercooked; it was liquid. When I pointed this out, the staff gave a half-hearted "I'm sorry" and blamed the business next door. No offer of a refund, no replacement, and zero accountability for serving a health hazard to a room full of children. * The Drinks: We were provided with cups and plates, but when I asked what was available to drink, I was told to go use the drinking fountain. For $400, I expected at least a pitcher of water or juice, not a "DIY" trip to a hallway bubbler. Final Verdict: Save Your Sanity This wasn't just a "bad day" for a business; it was a complete "rip-off." From the health code violation of the raw pizza to the blatant disrespect from the staff, Kidstopia failed on every single level. If you want your child to have a special day where they feel celebrated rather than rushed and ignored, do not book here. You are better off hosting a party in a public park--at least there, the service couldn't be any worse than this.
