This is great because he was also learning important Science concepts without realizing it. In addition, it will help children develop their critical thinking and imagination and advance from basic concepts to more complex ones as they progress through the workshops. My only regret is that they didn't have programs like this when I was growing up!

I'm not one of their traditional students but I found that they had a small judo program there and was interested in that. I couldn't find much more information on it so I called and left a message. Master Nunan called me back and asked why I was interested in judo; the club isn't competition oriented but a way for folks to still practice without a lot of the high-impact. Since I was looking for a supplement to other stuff it was a good fit. I was welcomed right away and allowed to practice for months, MONTHS without paying a single dime. I gained a lot of confidence with my throws and it wasn't until my first belt promotion that I started paying dues so that I could be officially recognized. The he majority of students here practice Tang Soo Do so the judo contingent is smaller and tight knit. I definitely enjoy seeing the same faces week in, week out. We even have annual Christmas gathering just to sit and chat off the mats. When I've had to stop practicing due to health reasons, pausing was simple and was told even though I won't be able to practice I can come in an observe anytime. Truly one of my highlights since moving to Austin.

Not only is Master Nunan a very accomplished martial artist in multiple disciplines, he's also a genuinely good person. I see it in his teachings, his philosophies, how he treats his family and friends, and most importantly, how he runs his life. He is patient and kind, and it shows in the talent he has surrounded himself with for instruction and follow up. He has students whom have studied with him for 20+ years, working their way up in ranks and taking on additional responsibilities in the studio. If you are looking for a place to study martial arts, I can whole-heartedly recommend NMA.

They take the time to really get to know each child and family, which makes all the difference. I especially want to shout out Ms. Mary, who is truly the heart of the Academy. She watches over all the kids like they're her own, and her care and love shine through in everything she does. You can tell she genuinely loves being with the kids, and they absolutely adore her right back. It's such a comfort knowing our little one is spending the day with someone so kind, attentive, and nurturing. It's rare to find a place that feels this safe and supportive--and Kiddie Academy, thanks in large part to Ms. Mary and the rest of the staff, absolutely delivers. We're so grateful!

One of the things I love most is that everyone knows my daughter by name and makes her feel welcomed and loved every day. The director, Ms. Brianna, has been wonderful and always goes above and beyond to support both the children and parents. The curriculum is excellent, and I've seen my daughter grow and excel so much during her time here. We have loved all of her teachers, especially Ms. Sonia in the 2-year-old classroom and now Ms. Kierra and Ms. Emily in the 3-year-old classroom. They are patient, nurturing, engaging, and truly care about each child's development and my daughter loves being with them every day. The daycare provides breakfast, lunch, and snacks, which is such a convenience for parents. They also offer plenty of outdoor playtime and a variety of well-rounded activities that keep the children learning and having fun. The staff was also incredibly helpful during the potty-training process, making it a much smoother transition for both my daughter and our family. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a safe, loving, and educational environment for their child. We are so grateful for the care and support they have provided over the years!

The teachers genuinely adore the kids, and love them like their own. Most parents probably aren't thrilled at the idea of taking their kids to daycare, so knowing that they are in good hands makes it bearable. This school has different playgrounds for different ages, a computer lab, cafeteria *with a school chef*, splash pad for the hot summer days, and overall a staff that uplifts and encourages every single family that attends. Our daughter is provided with breakfast, lunch and three snacks throughout the day. You don't have to bring anything except for diapers, wipes, and a blanket for nap time. We also have enjoyed the different family nights, like the trunk or treat they did for Halloween, and the Parent/Teacher "Get to Know You," that they did after COVID. They also encourage classroom birthday parties, Christmas book exchanges, and more. Kids R Kids Teravista partners with Williamson County Workforce Solutions, which is an agency that gives lower income families childcare assistance. Their hours range from 6:45am to 6pm, which is exceptionally helpful to parents that work long shifts. They start at infant classrooms and go through Kindergarten. I could just go on and on. Lastly, this school is independently owned. Mercedes makes this school thrive. She has a passion to make sure every family is content, and she is in the school more times than not.
