At another campus, the same pattern continued with favoritism and instructors who made multiple students feel small and unsupported. On top of that, the administration was completely disorganized. I was given conflicting graduation dates for weeks and wasn't told I owed $7,000 until the day I graduated. This wasn't a supportive learning environment--it was discouraging, unprofessional, and emotionally damaging. If you go here, be prepared to teach yourself and protect your confidence, because the school won't do it for you.

When you pay to schedule, ask her for test evaluation sheet so you have a clue what your kid will be doing. They will not offer that info automatically (almost like because they kinda want you to fail and pay another $85 to reschedule). I asked so she kindly explained the rule that you can fail "minors" up to 8 points and still pass. But "major" faults is a 1 time thing-- such as red light, stop sign violations, or anything that makes the examiner step on brake (yes they have brake on passenger side!) it will cause you exit the test right away. Another thing you should know, unlike at DMV you do not get to drive your car that you are familiar with. They only have Kia and it's gas. If you are used to EV pedals make sure you borrow grandpa's gas car for a day. I minus one star for just that. On the day you might have 2 examiners, one new and one supervisor in the back. The exam is quick like 20 minutes around town. Mostly about intersections, change lanes, using signals. No highway (disappointed). No parallel parking (very disappointed). Please please teach your kids to be proficient in parking for their own sake. After all it's NOT hard to pass. If your kid has been driving with you daily for at least a year, you shouldn't be worried at all. $85 is good investment and worth not to deal with DMV attitudes.

A few years later I'd worn it out again and Gary made it almost new again, but he told me was probably time to get a new machine so I decided they were right... I was giving the best deal ever On the Ellagio, but I've worn that one out too. and also got a BL serger...& a 6 needle/thread BL embroidery machine .... ive sewn a few hundred miles of stitches! so far it hasn't worn out. When I had a problem with one of the machines...no questions asked they replaced it immediately only to discover it was operator error my but they we're always kind and gracious. In other words, we wanted to enroll him in their Baseball Academy, and this seemed to be the first step. The website mentioned a video review and an assessment of skill. We completed the assessment, which included no video by the way, and were told we would be hearing back to set up a training plan. That is the last we heard from them. No email, no phone call, nothing. WE followed up, more than once, and were told, no problem, we will be in touch. That was over two months ago with no response. I feel like we threw away our money and have gotten nothing in return. If they are understaffed or incapable of providing services, maybe they should stop advertising.

I loved pair-programming - there are so many online resources that you could technically teach yourself most of the programming stuff you'd need to know... but if you're an interactive learner like me that benefits from mutual accountability.... They cover absolutely no sales skills (which is a GIANT part of training) Every NPTI student that I have encountered has been very surprised they have to do any sales when they finish their program. Their practical application of training isnt where it should be for the cost of NPTI. Save your money. Do your NASM or Precision Nutrition yourself. Find a trainer mentor instead. Having a mentor is free. PCC has an amazing nutrition program that is taught by people that went to college for nutrition and dont just have a cert. It breaks my heart and infuriates me that places like this take advantage of unsuspecting people. Go to Portland Community College instead so you have credits that you can apply to an associates degree or just get your certification and start applying for jobs.
