There is an extreeme lack of adult supervision and I am shocked at the reports my child brings home and the defense given by the limited staff. My child is an honor roll student with numerous academic, leadership, and citizenship awards. Yet in this environment he does not seem to be safe from bullying situations, not only verbal but physical. My child comes home with physical injuries more than once a week that the staff cant seem to control. They constantly brush it off as "child play", I am sorry but physical assault against my child multiple times per week IS NOT CHILD PLAY. If you raise your child with good morals DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS ORGANIZATION! It is run by delinquents, I have seen first hand. When I pick my child up early and they are in outdoor play there is NEVER an adult in sight! This is a flawed, unsafe environment for children and when you bring it to the attention of the head staff they get defensive rather than finding solutions. Having minors as councilors works when they are upstanding students that have earned the position. That is not what is present here. There are way too many teenagers( who have not earned, as privilege the position of being counselors) and way too few adults, it is chaos! sooner than later there is going to be a serious safety incident if it is not addressed.

In addition, the owner Kateryna, is organized, professional & warm. She has responded to me quickly when I had questions and really wants both parents & kids to have a positive experience. She was flexible when I asked to switch a week. Finally - a note about Covid-19. I was hesitant to send my daughter to any camps this summer but after doing a lot of research, I determined Petite Designers was going to make it as safe as possible with every instructor wearing masks, all equipment being sanitized frequently, temperatures taken at the door & constant hand sanitizing.

And that's the only uniform you need. You don't need to buy any additional equipment, and there aren't various marketing strategies employed against you. This is not a training center that promotes you every promotion. I'm sorry to say, but my son's class was supposed to test for belt promotion and they were denied because many students didn't show up in the correct uniform. The students must wait until their sensei schedules another testing opportunity. They have a smoothie bar inside, i haven't tried it yet. My son enjoys their training program very much. I enjoy their friendliness and lack of continued marketing tactics. The price is reasonable.
