I come in to pick him up when his mother and I have something planned, and the staff is always very welcoming. I don't think it's just that they're happy to see the kid go home, but maybe. He can be a handful. But mostly, I think it's just that they really enjoy taking care of the kids. The place is always clean, and they teach the children well. He's learning to share (he's an only child so he doesn't get that at home), as well as social skills. He already knew how to read, but they encourage his reading and they keep him active, which he needs. He'll continue to go here for a few more years. It's helpful for his parents to know he's in a safe place while they're at work.

I was really looking for a camp that would encourage outdoor activity, exercise and learning. I remember spending my summers in the Florida sun as a child and wanted to offer that same experience to my little girl, away from technology, video games and television. I wanted to give her a true old fashioned Florida summer and that is exactly she got. The camp offered so many wonderful outdoor activities to keep the kids busy and learning. Her days started off with surfing lessons on the beach and would continue to canoeing, archery, fishing, science and various arts and crafts projects. She spent the entire summer outside making friends and learning about Florida's native plants, animals and ocean as well as different ways to be environmentally conscious, which is very important in my household. Another great convenience the camp offered was transportation; which as a working mother was very helpful. I was able to drop off my daughter at a bus stop on my way to work and then pick her up at the bus stop on my way home. She got to spend her days at the beach and park, enjoying the Florida sun without me having to drive her all the way there every day. She rode the bus daily with counselors present from the bus ride to the actual camp site, so I also had the opportunity to get to know the people my daughter was spending her day with and felt comfortable and safe leaving her in their care. Another HUGE bonus, every day I got off work I would pick her up and she spent the entire car ride telling me about her amazing day and all of the fun and exciting things she learned about and experienced. It really was an incredible memorable summer for her, and convenient and educational for me. I highly recommend this camp to all my friends and family for a wonderful Florida Summer for their kids.
