I loved that it was wading depth water the whole way around. Plenty of room to walk and swim around. honestly great for all ages. They have a good amount of seating. Life guards are on duty. I loved how they did a routine child/parent check as well. The facilities were REALLY clean and the water was perfect. They have concessions for food and soft drinks. We will be back for sure!

He got to pet the farm animals, he loved the pony ride, he got to groom the horses, feed donkeys, play with chickens, and ended with some time playing in the playground with friends. It was such a fun experience. I can't wait to go back! Aside from this super fun event, the ranch offers riding lessons for kids and adults, you can host parties, they offer summer camp for kids, and other special events such as a yoga with horses!

The large parking lot was filled with vendors selling a variety of items. I picked up several useful and cool things very inexpensively. The Tamarac Recreation Center is located in Tamarac Park. The Recreation Center with has offices while the park has baseball fields, a covered playground, concession stand, restrooms, and picnic tables. Adjacent to the Tamarac Park Recreation Center is the Tamarac Multipurpose Center. The facility has a gymnasium, meeting rooms, teen council, art room, restroom, and locker rooms. Tamarac stages many events at these facilities and the park throughout the year. For a full listing of vents check the Parks and Recreation section on the Tamarac city website or follow parks and rec on Instagram and Facebook. An upcoming event is the 5K Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day. This is a great resource for the residents of Tamarac and its visitors.

There is a science museum where kids can continue exploring. There is also a garden and nature walk. There are picnic tables where you can bring food and enjoy lunch in the shade. There are no shaded areas so plan to visit early in the morning or later in the afternoon. However, if you end up here right in the middle of the day, don't worry! Your kids will be excited to cool down at the adjacent water park- also free! In between the city and water park there is a nice mostly shaded playground. This was such a fun place to visit! There is a big mall within a 10 min drive so you can make this a day trip!
