We love this school! The teachers are so welcoming and knowledgable about the Montessori curriculum. We have seen such a huge impact on her behavior at home and her language acquisition. The check-ins on the ProCare app are also really helpful to know how different parts of the day - independent & cooperative play, meals, bathroom, etc. - are going for our toddler. PARENTS BEWARE- while this school presents themselves as an amazing, eco-friendly school they are anything but. At first my child loved going to school but sometime in the middle of the year he stopped wanting to go and cry every morning asking to stay home. I should have listened. MULTIPLE students in the class have informed me that my child was repeatedly isolated and/or taken to the toddler class when he didnt know the answers to a math problem. An hour glass was put in front of him and again, would be "punished" if he either didnt finish before the time ran out or if he didnt understand. Mind you, my child was in KINDERGARTEN. WHO CARES IF HE DIDNT KNOW MULTIPLICATION OR DIVISION. Yes, my KINDERGARTENER was punished for not knowing their times tables. They are also are not up to state level academically so if you still decide to send your child to this glorified daycare be prepared to pay for a tutor. This shouldnt be surprising as the owner is only in the business for the money as she has a day job and this is simply her side hustle. But i suppose that doesnt matter as she is never at the school anyway. read more

My daughter has attended Green Children's House since she was 2 1/2 and I am so sad to be leaving for her new big girl school. We placed her here during COVID times because of it's intimate environment and we got so much more. Every teacher that works here seems to genuinely care about the kids. From Ms. Kayla, to Mr. Edward, Ms. Marina, Ms. Jocelyn and Ms. Stephanie. The educators are so sweet and nurturing. My daughter talks about them all often and I always felt so safe with her in their care. You're greeted every morning by Ms. Elizabeth, who is the absolute sweetest and the director, Ms. Crystal, will take time to personally speak with you about any concerns you may have and work on a resolution. They are always growing with new ideas and education of staff- the owner, Ms. Danyiel, seems to really believe in the montessori program and provides lots of support to her team so they can pass along all of the great practices to the children. They do so many fun activities for the children during the regular school year and also the camps they offer. We LOVED our time at GCH and will always cherish the memories. My daughter has exponentially grown with her time here and I can't recommend it enough. read more

The best school in all of South Florida hands down. It is always a nerve racking and a tough decision to choose where you will send your toddler to School. The staff and teachers made me feel so comfortable and were very patient with me. Most importantly they are loving, attentive and caring with the children. The other day I picked up my two year old from school and asked her how her day was...she said "happy!", with such a huge smile. I was exited about taking my child to this school. we took the tour and talked to one the teachers there and coowners. We explained that our child had developmental delay and speech delay and that we wanted a school environment where she could work at her on pace and interests. They said they would called us, and I am still waiting. I called and sent message with no response. They didn't even give my child the opportunity to be in a Montessori setting. It is so sad they call themselves a Montessori school and don't even want to deal with children with different abilities. Maria Montessori was a great advocate for inclusion and implemented her methods with diverse children. You should be ashamed, and should revise what you really believe in, because that is NOT MONTESSORI! read more

One of the nicest staff I have come across.We daycare hopped for a few months and had a horrible experience from our previous daycare. My daughter spent about a year (she's 2 about to be 3 now) before we had to leave from GCH but her teachers were so nuturing especially being new, the only girl, and the smallest baby in the class. Even on days I forgot lunch or diaper bag they fed and provided change of diaper and clothes for her. They really loved my daughter. The owner, Danyiel, reached out to me personally and acknowledged that she interacted and met with my baby in the first week she was there. Danyiel is extremely nice and professional and has even given me opportunities for making my personal life better. They also have a camera system so that you can watch your kid(s) all day, and trust me I WATCH MY KID. They are very personable here. I am a VERY picky and a hands on mom. I have seen really negative reviews here about this "day care" and that's because it's not a day care, it's a school. My son has been enrolled here since august and this is his first school. Experience. It's a super secure building, videos in all the classrooms so parents can stream at home to make sure everything is ok. They get ample time to play outside which was super important to us and the lunches are optional. We bring our own and it's no big deal. I really don't have a negative thing to say. Small classes, low ratios, they may be on the pricey side but id rather pay more knowing that my son is safe. read more

We have had two children enrolled at Green Children's House. My oldest, who just graduated from their VPK program, began at GCH at 20 months (now 5) and my youngest started at 20 months as well. We just moved cross-country and have sadly had to take our kids out of this wonderful school. GCH has always felt like home. It's a small, intimate, warm environment with small class sizes particularly in the younger classrooms. We knew this was the place for our girls upon first visiting the school. It's clean and bright. There's an emphasis on operating as a green school and in teaching these principles. The food they serve is organic and nutritious - no filling your kids up with chips, cookies and junk food all day long! This is also one of the few schools that we found that is a truly accredited Montessori Program, which with both of our daughters achievements, we stand by. The teachers have all treated our children with love and care and us with respect. They promptly discuss any issues going on and just as quickly share our children's achievements. I was also very impressed with the environment of respect that they created among the children themselves. When you walk into the school on any given day, you see children diligently working on their lessons and interacting kindly with one another - - not disorganization and chaos. It feels very safe for the children. My 5 year old was learning to speak Spanish and Italian, and was taking soccer and art. She also enjoyed the Gardening club - GCH is home to the largest urban garden in Broward County - tended to by the teachers, children and parent volunteers! We have met wonderful friends in the other parents, the staff is kind and flexible, and we truly miss this fabulous school! I would recommend it to anyone!! read more

I visited many schools before sending my son to this school. Mother's instinct made me know immediately that this was the best choice for my son. I have not been let down. He is almost done with his first year as a member of the toddler class. He has learned so much. He feels so loved and safe. I get daily homenotes in my email from his teachers. The entire staff is warm, friendly, caring, loving, patient and teach my child so much. The tuition is not the cheapest but not the most expensive, and the best value of all the ones I visited. It was actually better than some daycares I visited that were $300's more a month. We don't look at the webcams, but it is comforting knowing they have them. I feel so comfortable leaving my child here every day, and that is not easy for me to feel that way. I cant imagine him going or having gone anywhere else. read more

Absolutely by far the worst management for a school possible. I would not recommend bringing your child here if they are an infant. The staff that actually handled our child was nice, but the management is terrible. No answers to repeated requests for contact, and many other reasons. Save your money and frustration and take your child elsewhere. Mostly negative experience with this school, sick policy is not enforced, they allow sick kids to attend the daycare therefore spreading the germs. They also charge you $600 enrollment fees which are non-refundable. We also had few negative incidents at this daycare. Would not trust leave my child at this establishment. read more

Green Children's House is a lovely and warm learning environment. Our son has been attending since he was 4 months old and it has become a second home to our family. We love the staff - they are so caring and nurturing and we have the utmost confidence that our child is well loved. We are constantly impressed with how much he is learning. He has excellent self-care skills and is very independent. He has a large vocabulary and enjoys the circle time and story times. He talks about his teachers and classmates on the weekends - it's so sweet! We love that we can see the classroom and play areas in video and receive daily updates on what our son is doing. We find the communication with all of the staff, including the owners, to be very prompt and thorough. All of the employees are very attentive to the children and their families. The curriculum is well-developed and we like the extra-curricular programs that are offered. While the area may not be considered the safest, GCH has high security standards and we always feel safe. They go to great lengths to ensure that the area is secured and that there is staff on hand when children are being dropped off and picked up. We feel blessed to be a GCH family and highly recommend this school. read more

I would like to share my experience with Green House Kindergarten, which have left a mixed impression of this kindergarten. On the one hand the staff has a good attitude toward to children and an interesting curriculum. On the other hand, the management of the kindergarten is unprofessional and inflexible. It remains unclear to us why they charged for an entire new school year 3 month ahead of time ($100 application fee/$200 enrollment fee/$250 supply fee. Total due: $550) My child attended the GreenHouse only 3 months in 2012-13 program and then we had to move to another city. When we asked for a refund for the prepayment for 2013-14 in whole or in part, I immediately felt that the an attitude towards us changed. I was ignored and my request refused without explanation still present day. As I mention the program itself is good, but in Pompano Beach there are similar level program for much better flexible management and much less fees. When we put our son into a new kindergarden, they learned about our sad experience at Green House and we got ​​a 50% discount for the current school year. It is clear that new kindergarten has an individual approach to each family. I recommend that all parents think twice over his desire for than child to attend the GreenHouse. Be prepared for the possibility of an attitude change (for the worse to you) in the event that your situation changes. Our son has been a student at GCH for 3 years now. We cannot say enough good things about the school and the staff. My wife and I did our homework and tried a few other "day cares", but quickly realized we didn't want a day care for our son, we wanted a school. Our son was recently accepted to Pine Crest which should say enough about the education and preparation provided at GCH. I am sure there are cheaper alternatives out there but for us, we want the best for our kids. We will be sad to leave GCH as we met so many wonderful parents which provided a sense of family at the school. If you follow the advise and look more carefully at the negative reviews left here, more importantly at the people leaving them, you will find they have nothing but negative things to say about all the establishments they visited. I highly recommend reading "The Secret" and maybe you will realize why you have such negative luck... As for Green Children's House, you won't find a more professional, nurturing preparatory school in South Florida. read more
