It was a combination of a bad catalytic converter and the "clutch" that coupled the electric motor to the gas motor had worn out. I drove my car 40 minutes out of the way to find this place because I was told this is where mechanics go when they cant fix their clients car. This place was worth the drive, I wish I stopped by here first 2 years ago. Update. The time I've spent waiting here, I've seen police officers bring in their vehicle as well as an ambulance on the lift, clearly they are very trusted. Mechaanics here are all very easy going and seems to love doing their job. For every part thats broken, Alex would pull out the part and show me exactly what is broken with it. They had my truck for over 4 months and it wasn't right from the day I picked it up!! The aglinment was off bad. The body panels are not aligned properly. The hood shakes, needs to be adjusted down, it's too far up. My headlights stick out past the fender on one side and they're too far in on the other Side. Had mechanic work done from his brother's shop, Master Mechanic, which is also horrible. I had broken studs on my exhaust manifolds, which they removed all the broken ones except for one, which they cut the head off a bolt and rtv it in so I wouldn't notice it missing. After bringing it back a few times, Bill says I'm sorry, I couldn't make you happy. The most unprofessional shop I've ever dealt with. I tried bringing it to other shops, but no one wants to touch the abortion he did on my truck. Not to mention, he also lost the hardware for my exhaust. He replaced them after numerous times of calling him.
