I called 8 places. Thankfully the 7th place gave me the number for this Pep Boys. I called and they said yeah we got them. So I was like when can I get them done? He said anytime just bring it over. So I took a personal day and hopped in the SUV. I came over and they took the car in almost immediately. Not to mention they were $100 cheaper than the other spots that were willing to order the tire for me. So my impatient attitude worked out for once. While waiting for my vehicle I perused the aisles in search of wiper blades. I heard someone behind me ask if "you" have starter kits. I didn't turn around until I realized the guy was talking to me. So he repeated the question. I said I didn't work there and he apologized and pointed at his collar. Insinuating that since I'm wearing a polo I work here. But I don't think Pep Boys employees wear polos. It took a little over an hour. I couldn't have done it without the boys today.

The price was adjusted upward 400% from comparable parts but I paid it because I needed it. 3. I drove 20 miles to pick it up only to discover that it was broken with a golf ball sized part of the box missing, still apparently worth 400% markup. My sales person was Brian Meddings. Do not use this person who works on markup and made good money on my part, but refused to have it overnighted to my location and made me call him several times to get status on this item. 4. The part was broken and my two week waiting period flushed.

The total was $4,678.75 which they paid the deductible $500 and $839.88 leaving us to pay $3,838.87 of are own money. I reach out to Bobs Auto a few times to discuss the matter and they basically would say we will get back to you. I reach out again and Debbie said not are problem we had are insurance close the claim and hung up on me. I understand accidents happen I don't understand why we are out $3,838.87 because of one of there driver hit my wife. We have been nothing but patient. I hope they understand I'm going to every news outlet every local Facebook page and as far as I can go until I get paid back the money that's owed to my family.

I needed to drop my MINI off after work and the night drop was a little tricky to find. However, once you get back behind the building, parking was ample and the night drop box was easy to use. If you have a MINI or BMW, you will want to go here over any other local shop for service or upgrades. I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism of their staff. The fact that they were willing to be honest with me about the service my car actually required speaks volumes. Highly recommended.

I've had brake rotors, pads and drums explained to me time and time again, and i still can't really remember which one is the really expensive replacement. (I think it's the rotor.) Anyway, finding a good mechanic that does the job for a fair price and in a timely fashion is quite a feat. I'm proud to say that I found such a mechanic at Flourtown Sunoco. His name is Rich and he's honest and his prices are upfront and fairly reasonable. I have a 2005 Saab 9-3 and the dealership nearby is criminal in it's hourly labor charge. $109! What am I, Sumner Redstone? You may fool the rich yahoos from Huntingdon Valley with those prices but not this hardscrabble sort from funky Erdenheim. The Sunoco is much cheaper and he gets his parts from the Saab dealership. So while the parts might be the same price (of course, after market is cheaper), his labor is like half. Plus, you don't get the Starbucks coffee machine/"free" rental dog and pony show the dealership gives you. The car is ready a few hours later and that's that. Oh, as a bonus, he even works on my 1970 Triumph TR-6. Most mechanics are super scared working on old cantankerous British roadsters, but he's fearless. Anyway, if you live in the area and need a good, honest mechanic....Flourtown Sunoco is a very good choice.

Fifteen minutes later I was standing in their bay with my car on the lift. The manager Ryan told me what he could do for me and managed to rig up a fix that would hold. He lowered my car and I asked him how much it would be. He refused payment and told me to have a nice day. I said I would gladly pay for the fix and he refused.
