Our most recent visit was for lunch on 4/11/2025, and it was excellent, just like the other visits. I had the fish special: two pieces of cod, fries, and a couple of hush puppies. There are plenty of places where you can get catfish, but not many that serve good cod filets. My fish was delicious. It was hot, crispy, and the two good-sized pieces were all I needed for lunch, especially with fries. Parking can be challenging, so keep that in mind. Other than that, if I am looking for fried fish and chips, Zeke's is the top of my list.

I never had redfish, so I chose the Blackened Redfish with Crawfish Cream Sauce. Of the portion not covered by the cream sauce, the blackened seasoning was very flavorful. By the way, shouldn't there be a limit to the number of times "'N" can be used instead of the word "and" on a menu? Just asking. Anyway, our lunch was ready and delivered rather quickly. We had tarter sauce and malt vinegar for the 2 fish filets, which were tender, flaky and delicious. We had cocktail sauce for the 3 beer battered shrimp. I think they would have been better with a panko type of coating but maybe the beer batter makes it more authentic for an English pub. The hand-cut chips were good and plentiful and the coleslaw was tasty. Pip pip cheerio!
