Good deal on yelp too! Don't know why there are bad stars, but my massage was amazing. My therapist's name was May/Mai (not sure of the spelling). She has been by far the best massage therapist I've had in my entire life. You know how some paces are good but not amazing, and you feel like you get shorted when you leave? Not with her. She kept her pressure and worked on all my knots. It was so good that I was thinking maybe I'll get a massage from her every week while I was laying there . Granted the place is straightforward, no frou frou scented aromatherapy oils and stuff, she did use some hot stones. I think I found my go-to place for massages!

I visited rainbow massage in tustin last week as part of my search for a good spot, and…read moreunfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I called ahead for a 3pm deep tissue massage, but when I arrived, they were busy and asked me to wait 30 minute...This was red flag #1 but i decided to wait in my car outside for 30 minutes. When I finally got in, I had to remind the therapist multiple times that I wanted a deep tissue massage. The pressure was so light it literally felt like a tickle, and I gave up asking for a deeper pressure after asking over, and over, and over... To make matters worse, during the session, the therapist left the room for about 8 minutes to talk to someone, and I could hear her switching between my massage and another customer. I am 99% sure she was working on me and another person at the same time. When I flipped over, I experienced an inappropriate touch. I told her I wasn't comfortable and didn't want that, but instead of finishing the session as paid, she left the room again, came back quickly wiped me down and ended the massage early. I tipped $15, and when I did, I overheard her yelling at another employe through the hallway. I felt like she was upset and calling a guy over to demand more money, so i rushed out of the place without my socks on. This experience was so bad when I got home i did some research and found provocative ads online for this business that don't match the experience. For anyone reading this who is looking for that, be warned the staff looks absolutely nothing like the pictures i saw on some of these ads they have online - I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone

Perfect example to never judge a book by its cover!…read more The outside of this location looks a little run down & sketchy but once you get inside, it's a very humble, well-kept place that gives off zen energy. My bf got a couples massage off group on for $116, which includes a regular Thai massage, hot stones, "yoga" & herbal tea. They have regular massages that differ in price when you pay with cash or card & they're by appointment only. We've gotten so many Thai massages in Thailand but this was one of the best we've had. The ladies here know exactly what they're doing. Thai massages can get pretty aggressive, so make sure to specify the pressure you prefer. Our "medium pressure" massages were perfect enough to release all the tension in our bodies & to untie all the knots in our backs. First they give you a regular massage, lather you with oil + massage, then apply hot stones. I remember saying "WOW" in my head once those hot stones touched my back because it's something I never knew I needed in my life. My masseuse, Mona, also put me in different yoga like positions that I didn't even know my body had the ability to do but felt amazing. Our only negative comments/suggestion is to maybe keep the room a little warmer because the towels did feel a little cold in the end & a warmer room would just add to the relaxing feeling. We also didn't get our tea so maybe that's given upon request? All in all, get your massage with either Mona or Lynne & trust that you'll be sleeping like a baby later on that night!

After checking out their website, I felt their pricing was almost too good to be true so was a little skeptical at first. However, after checking out their reviews online, and seeing such positive comments, I decided to give it a go. I usually only do 90 minute massages. One hour is never long enough to thoroughly go through the whole body while paying special attention to certain areas of discomfort or pain. I have had different masseuses each visit and all have been wonderful! I do suggest letting the gorgeous lady at the front - she may be the owner but I am not sure - know what you need as not all of the therapists speak fluent English. I usually get matched with women therapists however, I did have a male the time before last. He did such a wonderful job and I felt 100% comfortable with him. I have some hip issues that had been bothering me for a while. He was able to respectfully and professionally get into that area and try to work the tightness out. Then he proceeded to give me a good, long stretch. I walked out of there with no pain. The rooms are clean, place is quiet, and tables are comfortable. I have never been shorted on time either. If we start a few minutes late they still honor the full session. The only bummer is they are not open on Sundays. They do take walk-ins but I would call ahead just in case. I have only had great experiences here. I would highly recommend stopping by. Their staff and services are very professional and prices are extremely affordable. Since they charge a bit less than I'm used to paying, I usually leave a $40 tip on a 90 minute massage. Well worth it! I will continue coming here when I am in town.

Luckily I found Massage Essence online and it matched my needs pretty well. It is located in a strip mall on Red Hill, pretty easy to find. A good landmark is the MacDonald in the same lot. Massage Essence is on the second floor. I used the staircase since I didn't find an elevator. The massage room is nicely decorated. The music is piped in from a wall mounted speaker. I was happy with the strength and techniques of my masseuse. The price is reasonable too, a 60 minutes signature massage was $65, cheaper than other places I have visited. Yes, I plan to be back next month.

This was mostly due to the fact that over the course of an hour, only my back, chest, and legs were massaged. My neck was barely touched and my shoulders, arms, and feet weren't touched at all. It felt like the hour went by extremely quick since only part of my body was tended to. It was difficult to relax for me because I kept wondering when she was going to finish doing my back. I guess I could've addressed it at the time, but I've never had to bring it up with any other masseuse. Again, it felt good but just didn't do it for me and I ended up leaving a little disappointed.
