At this time another customer was behind me. I proceeded to call the number listed (apparently a cell number) no one answered. The man behind me called it as well. The first couple walked away. I saw two bags on a shelf and stated, someone has to be here. I then walked away to check out other restaurants. I was proceeding to walk out when I noticed the man that was behind me getting his order taken. I walked over and asked the young lady, where were you, we had been waiting about 10 mins. She didn't really reply. JUST MOMENTS LATER, a young man appears from the back and starts making orders. Instantly my favorite Açaí Bowl spot!…read more Boujee Bowl is a local spot in Piedmont with a few cozy spots to sit in similar to an ice cream. I was able to meet the owner and I love that she spends good time to make and get fresh ingredients for her bowls. My friend and I both got The Runway (bowl floats) because we couldn't decide. They have the usual variety of base and toppings that you'd expect in a bowl shop (with the exception of some cereal toppings), but MAN was it fresh! Definitely more fresh than Cocobowlz as much as I like them. The menu prices I thought were pretty decent. A small bowl (one of the cups from the flight) for $4 is a decent size and the large $14 is bigger than any bowl than I've seen in the area. Personally it is a little of a bummer that it's in Piedmont and a 20+ minute drive for me (I'm in Greenville), but I will definitely go out of my way to eat here more in the near future. My friend and I sat outside and ordered the Black Sesame and Brown Sugar Latte and the Nectar Cortado, both iced, plus an avocado toast to share. The coffees were the real draw. It was perfectly balanced between sweet and coffee-forward, with a silky texture (oat milk). I liked it so much I ordered a second round. The avocado toast, with a chili crisp topping, was solid but not memorable. I'd have to try other food options but the coffee is clearly what this place does best.

It was even nice that as we drank our water, someone came by to refill it. The croissant was good. It was flaky and crunchy though I would have expected more Nutella on it. It was presented beautifully as well, but it definitely was not worth $14. I expected a lot more as it definitely did not feel "stacked." I'd go back again, but only for the coffee and location.
