If you're looking to party in the day time or people watch; the pool was awesome. Grab a lounge chair or jump right into the mess and you're transported to a Jersey Shore-esque atmosphere (but I'm told less Jersey Shore than some of the other swim up bars that Put In Bay offers). When we went on Sunday at 3pm, the party was going full swing and the DJ was great. There was no cover charge on Sunday and my friends reported the drinks as strong and reasonably priced. We stayed there for a few hours, danced in the pool, did plenty of people watching and enjoyed the escape from reality. I'd recommend Sand Bar in Put In Bay if you're looking for the best swim up bar and a fantastic DJ. Don't miss out!

The crowd at mash is more collegiate than I was expecting -- I thought a whiskey inspired bar would driver an older crowd, but the bar was packed with early 20-somethings on a Saturday night. If you show up past 9pm on the weekend, there's a good chance you won't find a seat and will have to wait 20 minutes to get through the line at the bar, but Mash serves as a great place to meet up with the crew. Our server was so friendly and helpful, especially helping navigate the extensive menu of cocktails and liquor. She helped me narrow down my first drink to a Clover Club which was perfectly made.
