Chuck was wonderful. After 90 min Deep Tissue I am very relaxed and loose. Ready to face next week

I saw Rhonda for a lymphatic drainage massage. She was thorough and addressed my concerns, suggesting additional types of therapy that might help further my health goals. I loved the sauna following the massage. I will see her again. I also saw Saylor for a facial and back facial. It was relaxing and I was very happy with her. Chuck is an amazing therapist. Without telling him much, he finds the trigger points. He has a knack for finding ones I don't even know exist. I appreciate his professionalism and sincerity. Please be sure to call ahead, as his schedule fills quickly. Don't expect to just show up and get seen. I tried that. But I gladly showed up for the next available opening the following day. Thanks, Chuck! read more

My mother and I purchased a laser Lipo package from Chuck, attending six sessions and really noticed a huge difference in a fat loss through the stomach area which is what he addressed. The machine is absolutely amazing, I just wish that they were closer because we live in Palm Bay and it's quite a far of a drive. Chuck was nice enough to Give me a few minutes of a massage before I left because I have a back injury, and just threw a few minutes of Pressure point and massage it felt a lot better. I will definitely consider going back to him for a massage to straighten my back and help with my pain. I would advise everyone to get the laser Lipo it's absolutely amazing. You do have to drink a lot of water and you have to limit and watch what you're eating but if you stick with that you'll see a definite difference read more

I have received massages in the past for my tight neck and shoulders. Sometimes it helps but only for a short time. I met Chuck today and he was able to pinpoint exactly what my problem is which honestly was never done before. I am already feeling better and can't wait to go back! Thank you read more

Had a massage with Chuck Thissen today and can't say enough good things. It was a therapeutic massage and I wasn't sure what to expect as I usually get an old fashioned Swedish massage. I will tell you I walked out of there feeling like a new person. My body just seemed to function better without the aches and pains I originally had. I'm on a budget and felt like it is well worth every penny it costs. Thought about not telling anyone so I can continue to get appointments but that wouldn't be fair to Chuck. read more

I had a massage with Theresa and I felt like I died and went to heaven. By far, the BEST massage I've EVER had!!!!

Called for an appointment for a massage with Chuck Thissen. Was able to fit me in the next week. I messaged Chuck to ask what their safety protocols regarding COVID-19. His response was... Don't come here if you're sick... I assured him I was not and asked if he would be wearing a mask during the massage session. He responded... No, I am not sick. I, then, asked him to cancel my appointment and that I would see him next summer. He replied, Don't bother. (See photos of texts) So, I won't. But I thought I would take enough time to write this review. (Check out site below) According to the government, massage therapists should be wearing masks. See below... I bought a Groupon for my mother to get a massage, she never does anything nice for herself. But when she called to book the appointment he was so rude to her about it being a "Groupon appointment" that he made her cry. I have used Cocoa beach wellness in the past for myself and had nice experiences, but unless you want to have your feelings hurt, don't call Chuck Thisson and don't buy a Groupon from him or he will think you're a poor loser. read more

I went to see Chuck Thissen for a massage. It was the BEST experience I have had. Anytime I get a massage, it feels good for a short amount of time and it's relaxing, but none of the underlying issues resolved. The pain comes right back. Chuck did a shiatsu massage. Something I didn't even know that I needed or to ask for that kind of massage treatment! I was able to see an immediate improvement in my range of motion and the underlying pain/tightness. He is certified in multiple types of massage treatment so it's not just shiatsu as a massage option. My back and hip pain has been better for days instead of just a few hours. I scheduled an appointment for my mom when I was done and a follow up appointment for me. Cannot recommend him enough!! read more

I posted this same review on Google because I want to spread the word on how great my experience was. This review is specifically for Mabelle Mardones at the Cocoa Beach Wellness Center. I had the pleasure of visiting this lovely place while on vacation in September 2023. I was lucky to get Mabelle because she is truly amazing at what she does. First, I signed up for the Oxygen facial, which was so soothing and relaxing. My skin glowed afterwards and felt so hydrated and supple. Mabelle asked a series of questions beforehand to make sure this facial was suitable for my skin, which i really appreciated. She was also kind enough to explain everything she was doing to my skin, step by step, so I felt very comfortable and confident that i was in good hands. Then i signed up to receive a full body massage, also by Mabelle, which was the BEST massage i have ever received. I felt like butter in her hands. Trust me, i have had more professional massages than i can count. I would pay double the price i paid to get another massage from Mabelle. All this to say, if you want a good facial or massage, just book with Mabelle. You will not regret it. Plus you will be supporting a small business. read more

First time booking a massage appointment at the wellness center and it was AMAZING! Jen was my therapist and she was very friendly and listened o all my needs. She customized the session for me and was phenomenal at deep tissue massage. She even incorporates cupping techniques which felt so good. Left there feel like I was on cloud 9. Very combiner location right in downtown cocoa beach with parking available. They have a booking reminder system which helps me keep on top of my scheduling. Also, the pricing was very affordable and less expensive than other massage businesses in the area. Every room was very clean and well kept. They had nice relaxing music playing for your session, heating pads (if you wanted them), and very comfortable massage tables. I will definitely be back. read more

A friend of mine has suffered with chronic back and neck pain for years. One day she tells me that she did some research and decided to see a massage therapist about trying some acupressure. She had an hour session with Chuck Thissen. This one session turned into multiple which has resulted in vastly improved range of motion and an overall better quality of life. This was intriguing to me as I had thrown my back out 5 years ago and since then it's never felt quite right. After one session I could feel the difference as I went about my daily activities. Standing for long periods of time, without pain, is something that is becoming more and more comfortable for me. I have 3 young children and being able to keep up with them is a priority and a goal that Chuck is helping me achieve! During every session I am comfortable, and relaxed. Chuck had always been personable as well as professional and I would recommend his services to anyone looking for an improved quality of life! read more

I was really looking forward to my first massage in over 7 months (delay was due to Covid-19). Unfortunately, Chuck told me "I don't wear masks" when I asked him to do so. So I guess I won't have the chance to find out how terrific everyone else says he is. Would've been nice if he'd offered to do so, since I asked if he had one. read more

Its been a few years since I've gotten a massage. I used to see Chuck who I was always very happy with. When I was having muscle pain more recently along with muscle spasms I knew I needed to get back into getting massages. My first thought was I needed to go see Chuck! I was so happy to see he was still in the same place. I just made the quick call and got that appointment with no problem. Never had to sit and wait to go back which is awesome. He does an amazing job getting the knots out with the deep tissue massage and gets me out of pain. And I love that he explains what is happening with the muscles. I am so thankful that I found Chuck years ago and that he is still there. I feel like he is one professional I can count on to always be there when needed. read more

This place is amazing! They were extremely accommodating with my last minute request for a couples massage for a 2 year anniversary present. Karin and Kim were wonderful, our massage was outdoors in a really tropical "oasis" and we even got some champagne and strawberries with chocolate afterwards! We also felt very safe COVID-wise. Highly recommend! read more

My college roommates and I held a reunion in Cocoa Beach for our 60th birthday. We haven't all been together at the same time since 1984. It was a wonderful trip and the week could NOT have ended any better. The weather was beautiful all week until that Friday. We all scheduled a facial and massage and Mabelle went out of her way to coordinate all three of us being able to be there at the same time...on that not very great weather Friday! It was perfect timing as we were scheduled to leave the next morning. Mabelle Mardones provided all of our phenomenal facials and she has such soothing voice; a consummate professional. We had marvelous massages done by both Theresa Delafield and Adrienne Davison. Adrienne happened to manipulate my muscles and massage is definitely her ministry! It actually made me good cry when she kneaded and moved my problematic right hip. She identified areas of "knead" not previously hit by other therapists; it was truly amazing. My friend also loved Theresa's therapeutic touch. We all walked out absolutely refreshed and happier for having scheduled a session. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you schedule an appointment for some serious TLC at this Center - fabulous cadre of caring professionals. read more

Chuck is definitely one of the best out there! I've been to many masseuses/therapists in the past and none of them have really been able to "fix" me. Chuck is extremely knowledgeable. He knew exactly what was going on with my body and what needed to be worked on without me having to tell him my issues. I had a lot of back/shoulder pains and he was able to get me aligned and feeling better right away! Chuck is definitely an expert in his field and knows how to get you relaxed and stress free. He is also very nice and I enjoyed talking to him! I will definitely be returning to see him. Thank you, Chuck! read more

Chuck Thissen is absolutely incredible massage therapist, and I REALLY appreciate the relief I get from his deep tissue massages. I work at the computer 10+ hours a day, and my neck, shoulders, and lower back are always tight and full of muscle knots, which often leads to tension headaches. Chuck has an extensive knowledge about trigger point therapy, and easily finds my problematic areas. He is always able to untangle me, which I am grateful for! read more
