I met with Sophia and she spent quite a bit of time understanding how I feel- lots of ambiguous symptoms that have gone on for so long that I couldn't help her figure out any particular triggers. She had me try some herbal broth- which admittedly was scary since it didn't smell or taste too great. She also recommended significant dietary changes- basically giving up all the foods I love and eat all the time. (Sugar, dairy, white carbs....really?!). After a few very challenging days I got into a bit of a routine and when I met with her a week later i could not believe how much better I was already feeling. I continued the broth for a few more weeks and after a while it wasn't that bad. Now it's almost 6 weeks later and I feel amazing! I am no longer addicted to Ambien and I have not taken even one Advil since before thanksgiving. (I took at least one a day Bc I could never shake the nagging headaches. ) It has not been fun giving up my favorite foods!! But she promised me if I tried I would feel better and she was 100% right! I cheat every once in a while (it's the holidays!) and I can absolutely notice the difference in how I feel when I sneak some cookies or treats. It isn't easy but you owe it to yourself to at least try. I am so much more in tune with myself and I'm a lot nicer to be around. Sophia has been a gift to my health and I highly recommend her!

There were lots of colors to choose from. I enjoyed the copper pot soak with lemons and flower petals. The coconut scrub was heavenly and the hot towels felt so refreshing. Next up was the massage. I did the 60 minute relaxation massage. Soft music and pleasing aromas accompanied the massage. It was wonderful. The pressure was effective but not too hard to be uncomfortable. I left feeling very relaxed. Again, I loved the hot towels and essential oils used during the process. When we drove up, I wasn't expecting what looked like a home but entering the front door and being treated so well, plus the amazing aromas emanating from the room, I knew I was in the right place. I didn't take any pics because I was enjoying myself so much. I did buy some products before I left and snapped a pic. Had my first massage with Chuck Thissen today and WOW! I finally got to experience the difference between a "spa" massage and an actual authentic therapeutic massage. I will never go anywhere else now! I am young, only 21 years old, but I have had some serious back and shoulder issues since i was a teenager. Chuck explained the issues he saw and was describing everything he was doing to fix it. His technique was excellent and he used the perfect amount of pressure. I legitimately felt the difference by the end of the massage. I felt so comfortable and well taken care of. He took the time to ask me questions to better understand the root cause of the issues, and he asked questions about me so he could get to know me. He gave me a wonderful deal since it was my first time and at the end, he went ahead and booked me for my next one. He is awesome and I can't wait to go back. I'm happy to say that I will be a regular here from now on, and I will highly recommend this place (and Chuck) to everyone I know! read more

My husband and I were visiting Cocoa Beach for part of our honeymoon. We decided to take some time for a relaxing spa day so I called Cocoa Beach Wellness Center to see if they had any openings, as we were leaving the next evening. Not only were they able to get us in on such a short notice, but they also made accommodations to get my husband and I in the same room for our service as well. We had gotten their Beach Retreat package which included a message, facial, peppermint oil foot message, and a complimentary drink! Mabel and Karen were extremely respectful of us and our privacy and provided an excellent service! Sad to say that since we do not live in the area we will not be able to visit as often as I would like; however, if we find ourselves in the area again we will definitely be back! The people here are simply amazing. I wanted to surprise my GF with a massage for her birthday. I spoke with Karin and told her what I was trying to do. She suggested a couples massage. Well, let me tell you... Karin went above and beyond to make my GF's birthday extra special. When we got there she had decorated the room and I had ordered flowers to be delivered. Then, after a MIND BLOWING massage with Karin and Theresa, they served us Champaign and refreshments. My GF was thrilled to say the least and really enjoyed the extra special attention. Next time when it's cooler I'd like to have a couples massage in their outdoor oasis. Thank you sooo much for all the little details. I found this place through a Groupon, and am so glad I did. I bought laser lipo for a great deal, (which I learned you don't need the Groupon for) and today was my fourth out of 6 sessions. As far as the laser lipo goes, it's very comfortable; it feels like a heating pad and it's only 15-20 minutes. Can't not speak on the results yet. But, the people there are awesome. Chuck Thissen LMT, has been guiding me through the procedure and he has been nothing but kind and courteousThe atmosphere is very calm and quiet and everyone there is nice and very knowledgeable. There are many services from facials to massages to hydro colonics, and the prices are really good. I'm looking forward to getting many more services in the future. It's worth the drive. read more

Much Gratitude and so thankful , that I found, Mr Chuck Thissen at the Cocoa Beach Wellness Center. I have been living with chronic pain for almost 10 years. A hangman fracture 3 compressed disks in neck and 3 in lower back. I was encourage by a friend to try a medical Message. My frist visit releaved so many pains I had been enduring for a long time. I also could not properly turn my head or move my back without pain shooting into legs and arms and head.Mr Chuck has amazing bed side manners and I was at ease instanly with him. Chuck Theissen is a miracle worker. Prior to visiting Chuck I had been to 8 different chiropractors. Chuck has an understanding of the human body that far surpasses any of those chiropractors . When I went to see Chuck I could hardly walk. After a few sessions I was cured. I had a friend with a bad back like me and he fixed him too. The trigger point therapy he uses as well as his other methods that he incorporates are magical. If Chuck were based in NYC or LA he could easily charge a $1000 a session. My husband and I have been seeing Karen Atwell for massage therapy for over a year. We are both runners in our 60's and find her to be extremely helpful to keeping us running and treating any injuries. She does deep tissue work that releases the lactic acid and other toxins so our bodies can heal from the constant pounding of running. I love Pam!!! Her deep tissue massage is by far the best I've ever had. I like to try new places but after going to her, I'm not looking around anymore. I work out a lot and do a lot of driving to Miami. My neck and shoulders are always super tight. Her hands and pressure (good and deep pressure) are perfect. read more

Krista specializes in medical massage and gets to the root cause of the pain. She focused on my areas of concern for the full 60 minutes doing deep tissue, cupping and various other techniques. There were lots of colors to choose from. I enjoyed the copper pot soak with lemons and flower petals. The coconut scrub was heavenly and the hot towels felt so refreshing. Next up was the massage. I did the 60 minute relaxation massage. Soft music and pleasing aromas accompanied the massage. It was wonderful. The pressure was effective but not too hard to be uncomfortable. I left feeling very relaxed. Again, I loved the hot towels and essential oils used during the process. When we drove up, I wasn't expecting what looked like a home but entering the front door and being treated so well, plus the amazing aromas emanating from the room, I knew I was in the right place. I didn't take any pics because I was enjoying myself so much. I did buy some products before I left and snapped a pic. Their products were very reasonable priced and I'm excited to try them out at home. Great experience!

Only thing that struck me odd was a plastic container (see similar picture) of small biscotti bought from somewhere like a food warehouse. Would have been nice if they were spread out in a glass dish instead of a store bought container that was difficult to get biscotti out. The massage is good! I had Vanity, she listened to my every complaint and it was very relaxing. She has very strong hands which is perfect for me. I recommended her to my daughter for next time. However, another problem that arose after my massage was in the locker room. They have a little container there for cold towels I guess and before and after massage there was none so I just dismissed that. But, the steam room was not operating and I couldn't get it operating and when I mentioned to the front desk folks they didn't seem to care. And actually for what we pay for the massage I should've been able to use it.
