After almost 2 decades of a scalp surgery gone terribly wrong - I finally found someone who understands. CoCo... I called and explained about the hair loss-- scalp thickening and complete trainwreck 20 years ago after an endo brow lift. My scalp became so thick it was maybe 3/4 inch thick of "stuff" nothing would remove this. I likely spent 100k and 20 yrs. I felt shame and lost years of happiness. Coco took before and after photos of my scalp and what a difference she made!! I know this will take a few sessions to clear up- but there is hope within sight. Coco was incredibly kind and I felt so comfortable explaining this ugly secret. When I left my hair was not its usual crunchy self- it was soft and shiny!!! I absolutely loved this session and will absolutely do the is every month until my secret is long gone !!! read more

I had my first scalp massage and facial at Coco's head spa. It was amazing! Seeing before and after photos of my scalp was incredible. I felt comfortable and relaxed. The head upper back/shoulder and décolletage massage was amazing. I wish I would have taken a before and after photo of my face, the facial was like a mini face lift. The facility was clean and staff friendly. I loved it so much, I already booked my next appointment! I highly recommend. I can't believe I had such a nice experience right here on the central coast! read more

I had an amazing experience here. The level of professionalism and care is unmatched. They took the time to explain the process and used high-quality products that left my hair feeling incredibly soft and my scalp refreshed. I appreciate her (coco) taking the time to show me a comparison between my scalp before and after the treatment. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a premium head spa experience. I absolutely love this spa! I've been to a few prior and have to say this is my favorite so far. I was able to book with Coco the owner who took her time explaining the treatment, provided recommendations best for me, and make sure the pressure for massage was what I liked. It was beyond relaxing that I didn't want to open my eyes when it was over! I had a special mask put on my hair and wow does my hair not only smell great but my scalp feels cleaner, lighter, and my hair is soooo smooth and shiny! I also really appreciated that I had a private room for my treatment! Thank you Coco for making me feel so spoiled! I can't wait to come back! read more

I've been wanting to try a head spa for awhile now, and had to see what it was all about. I went with my 80yr old grandma in Pismo Beach today. It was an amazing experience for both of us. We loved the treatment room for two people. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. It feels like a 90min head scratch/shower that you never want to end. They also do some neck/arm massage and hair steam/blowdry after. I've done moderate scalp care in the past and had washed my hair that morning, but was still surprised to see how much waxy buildup I had. The difference after, is undeniable. Highly recommend trying this, and requesting Coco! read more

I cannot say enough amazing things about Coco's Head Spa in Pismo. This was hands down one of the most relaxing and transformative experiences I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, the environment was calming, clean, and beautifully set up. The staff made me feel so comfortable and taken care of. It truly felt like a luxury experience from start to finish. What really blew me away was the actual results. Seeing my scalp before and after under the scope was shocking in the best way. I didn't realize how much buildup and congestion I had until it was gone. My scalp feels so clean, refreshed, and honestly lighter. It is like my hair can finally breathe again. The massage portion alone is worth it. I was so relaxed I could have fallen asleep, and the attention to detail throughout the entire process was unmatched. You can tell they genuinely care about scalp health, not just the aesthetic side. My hair feels softer, looks healthier, and has so much more life to it. This is not just a spa service. It is an investment in your hair and scalp health. I will 100% be coming back and recommending this to everyone I know. If you are even thinking about booking, do it. You will not regret it. read more

So I heard about this place from my hairdresser. I told her I've been searching for a head spa. And she directed me to Cocos Head Spa. And boy was I happy she did. So we tried it. Coco, the owner, and Lily treated us. We had the scalp treatment and the facial. The scalp treatment was amazing‼ They massage your head and shoulders and neck and décolletage. Coco has magic hands. Facial was great as well. Such an amazing and relaxing experience . Already booked our next appointment. I also love how knowledgeable Coco is and offers helpful suggestions. read more

We are so lucky to have a head spa locally! I have had friends go to Coco's Head Spa, and they had so many great things to say, so I finally made an appointment. I saw Coco, and she was great at explaining and recommending a treatment that was right for me. I specifically booked one with an entire scalp treatment. It was 90 minutes, but those minutes flew by! I was amazed by the before and after scalp pictures. The scalp and upper body massage was so relaxing and each product that Coco put on my head smelled fabulous! The room I was in and the spa itself was super clean, and I really enjoyed the weighted comforter that was put on me during the treatment. I definitely plan on making this a regular part of my self-care routine, especially since taking better care of my scalp should reduce the amount of hair shedding I experience. read more

Amazing experience with coco!!! She is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and most importantly has integrity. I love that they use high quality products and she truly cares about your scalp health. The before and after pictures are insane and my hair and scalp feel so much better!! 10/10 recommend read more

This was my first time trying this service, and I really loved it! Coco was very welcoming and accommodating, and she went above and beyond to give me a scalp and hair treatment. She added a hair conditioning service because she felt my hair was dry, and she also massaged my arms, which is very relaxing, in addition to all of the hair, head and scalp massage and deep scratching of the surface as ginger herb treatments. My hair feels So clean, and I feel so refreshed! read more

Today I received the anti hairloss treatment with a facial. It was a very relaxing environment and the process was very pleasing. They give an explanation of each step and let you know what they part of the treatment comes next. You also get to see a before and after view of your scalp. I would definitely book another appointment in the future. read more

My hairdresser recommended Coco's and she was so right. I had the special herb package- a scalp treatment and deep facial. The deep facial was very well done. Really nice products that smell great. The scalp treatment was a really nice experience. I felt like a lot of care and attention were spent on the services. First she showed me my scalp on camera. It looked really gross! But after it was so much nicer. The whole process with the head, neck and arm massage, scalp treatment, shampoo, and bow drying was amazing. I fell asleep during the scalp massage. My hair feels so smooth and my skin looks a lot better. I will definitely be back. Go and treat yourself! read more

I went to Coco's for my first time today and had a really wonderful experience! Coco herself is absolutely lovely to work with and left my scalp feeling fresher and cleaner than I can ever remember it feeling. The spa itself has a nice atmosphere and is super clean as well. The massage and scalp rub was really good, but I also tend to like it stronger in a hurt-so-good kind of way, so if you have a more sensitive scalp, they will absolutely be gentler on you, but you can also take an asprin prior to your appointment so you can feel more comfortable and still get a deep clean. read more

Made an appointment online and they called to confirm appointment, but when we got there they acted surprised that we were there. Also, online and sitting on the desk when you walk in, is their price sheet that says all sets include deep scalp cleanse, however that's not the case. The option we booked they told us it did not include a deep scalp cleanse. See photo. Misleading and false advertising. When we brought it to their attention they said no one has said anything about that and didn't seem to care. read more

Coco’s Head Spa - Price sheet says all sets come with deep cleanse, but it's not the case. - Day Spas Near Me - Pismo Beach, California

Decided to check out Coco's head spa and wow! I called the day before and Coco was able to get in two people at a time that met our schedule. Coco took at look at our scalps and made a recommendation on which service to get. We both got the nourishing treatment. The service was so relaxing and my scalp hasn't felt this clean in years oh and my hair is so soft! The spa is clean and has a feeling of relaxation! Thanks Coco :) read more

I was very disappointed to find out that the package I purchased did not come with a head cleanse. This is false advertising because their price sheet says that all sets come with a deep head cleanse. In addition, when we arrived for our appointment they acted surprised we were there, even though they had called to confirm our appointment just an hour earlier. When I brought the discrepancy on their wevsite up to them, they didnt care and just offered to cancel the appointment. It was so disappointing to my daughter, granddaughter and I. Coco’s Head Spa - This is their price sheet on their website and at their front desk. - Day Spas Near Me - Pismo Beach, California

I went in today had an appointment with coco that I made a week ago. They put me in a room got me ready and coco comes in to talk about my hair and then goes to leave. I said I booked an appointment with you and she said well I'm doing a facial right now. If I would have known that I would have just left but they prepped me on a table then decided to give me someone else and didn't even ask me. I went here because I go off reviews and said coco was the best so I booked with her. I was so upset I couldn't even enjoy it. Anna did good but I booked with coco. Should not have an option to pick who you want then put you with someone else. Very disappointing and $150 dollars later. Will not be going back. Oh she did take $20 off my bill but that doesn't mean anything to me. And I walked out with a wet hair! read more

This was my first time at a head spa and it was great! I always say that a good business keeps people coming back not only for the quality of work but also for the quality of the owners/workers. Coco was so very kind in explaining things to me and making sure I got just what I needed. My hair felt amazing after too! I'll be going back and telling friends to head over too. read more

False, misleading advertising!!! The price sheet that is on their website and that is on their front desk says, "All sets includes deep cleanse and deep wash the scalp" but this is NOT TRUE!!! The service that I booked did not come with a head cleanse, despite their price sheet literally saying all sets comes with a cleanse. See attached photo. When I brought this up to the front desk lady, she didn't seem to care at all. Very upsetting and disappointing service. read more

My wife and I booked a couples scalp spa treatment and we could not be happier! Coco and her team are warm, friendly, professional, and above all, very knowledgeable at what they do. The scalp treatment and massages were incredibly relaxing. Starting with a quick scan over your scalp with a high-def camera, Coco and her team points out areas of concern and recommend any specific treatments. Afterward, it's 60+ minutes of alternating scalp and upper body massages, shampooing, and scrubbing, all on a specialized massage table/head rinse station. Warm compresses are placed on various parts of the face, neck, and head, and the entire experience feels like taking a warm and comforting bath. The spa is spacious and immaculate and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend booking with Coco if you are looking for a fanatic, and somewhat unique, spa experience! read more

I struggle with cradle cap and see a dermatologist regularly, especially when the seasons change and my scalp becomes extra dry and sensitive. Although I was prescribed a medicated shampoo, I don't like how it makes my hair wiry. Visiting Coco's Head Spa was truly transformative! Coco and her staff are incredibly kind, hospitable, and attentive to every detail. The environment is peaceful and zen -- from the soothing music to the gentle scalp massage that melted all my stress away. They even use a camera to show before-and-after images of your scalp, and the herbal products from China felt natural and healing. My hair is now so soft and healthy, and I plan to make this a monthly ritual. read more

I can't recommend this place enough! We came here during a weekend trip to the coast. We were looking for something relaxing to do and stumbled upon this gem via Yelp. I'm so glad we did too! Coco is very warm, caring and professional. She really knows what she is doing and it shows. Not only did we get a very good head, neck, shoulder and arm massage, but we got the added treat of a scalp massage and treatment along with a facial. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the therapist's are very attentive. The place is immaculately clean and the equipment is all brand new and state-of-the-art. They even have the capability of taking magnified before and after pictures of your scalp to show the improvement. The products they use are also very high quality.
