I received a gel manicure and a spa pedicure today around 6. I had a really comfortable and relaxing experience. The women were gentle and sweet! I had a huge paper cut on my finger so I was nervous that the acetone was going to sting but not once did I feel pain. This nail spa is very clean and modern. They use new tools as well. Katie did my manicure and did a very neat job. A friendly older woman did my pedi and also did a lovely job. There is a huge wall of colors and different brands of polishes. Sooo much to choose from. I will never go here again. While they are very clean, the bad experiences I have had on more than one occasion have completely turned me off. I had a gift card, which is the only reason I went (they're too expensive otherwise). I went for an SNS manicure. I had SNS on my nails, so I needed it removed. They clearly had no idea how to handle SNS. It took about 45 minutes for her to remove the powder (it takes less than half the time normally). She charged me an extra $10 to remove the nails because it was "time consuming." Not my fault you don't know what you're doing but ok. Next, I needed an extension on one of my nails. They charged me another $10 for that. I was charged a total of $68 for an SNS manicure that truly wasn't that special. The second time I went to use the rest of the gift card. I got a regular pedicure and was rushed. My toes looked horrible (see photo). There were smudges, my nails were cut way too short, and she didn't bother to get rid of any dead skin. Overall, I would not recommend this place. There's cheaper places that do a better job. Glad I had a gift card and didn't have to waste my own money. read more

Went in there for a gel manicure. Let me just start off by saying do not book or have the girl Bella do your nails. I had her for a gel manicure and it was the worst nail experience I had. 1. She rushed through the whole thing, 2 did not remove any dead skin away from my cuticles 3. Didn't even apply the cuticle oil NOR remove the dirt from under my nails. I also told her to cut and file SQUARE and got half square half round. also not to mention there was a lady doing massages and asked every single lady sitting down getting their nails done if they wanted a back massage BUT me EVERY TIME I have gone in there - probably because I look like a young kid who won't complain... I'm only giving this two stars because the manager at the desk was nice about it and offered to fix it -I was just so upset I wasted my money and time on someone who didn't even look like they cared about their job. perhaps I should start getting my nails done at another place. read more

This place is a little overpriced but the place is extremely clean and I appreciate their COVID19 measures in place to keep their customers safe. They are currently only taking customers by appointment only, no walk-ins. For those getting manicures, there is plexiglass separating you from the nail technician and they are also practicing social distancing by using every other nail station. I didn't really care for the quality of my overpriced spa pedicure. At $60+ the technician didn't do the best job of cuticle removal or massage. However I will return for another pedicure if/when I'm in desperate need of one during COVID19. read more

I went today for the first time. I got a powder manicures and a basic pedicure. It was a very posh lovely experience and my hands and feet look wonderful. But saying that, it cost me $86. and it wasn't really worth it. I wasn't pampered. I didn't get a long foot massage or leg massage during the pedicure. DO NOT GO HERE! I have been going to COCO for over two years, often with my adult daughter. I always leave a generous tip. Last few times the service had declined, but what I experienced last week was the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Upon completion of rushed services for my daughter and I (where the manicurist CUT me and I bled for at least five minutes--I have been getting manicures for 30 years and this has never happened!) the front desk manager asked my daughter to give HER the tips and she would split them between her manicurist and pedicurist (AGAIN, never have I experienced this!) she counted it out in front of us and told us it wasn't enough! I gave my daughter more money saying I didn't realize she had two service people. I was appalled! Who in the service industry tells a customer their tip is not enough after counting it in front of them! After that, I gave my manicurist (WHO CUT ME) her tip ( it was small--I was dissatisfied with the injury and the way they treated my daughter) and the desk manager called my name as we were leaving and told me I didn't leave enough! She took her time and was patient and wanted to get to know me as a customer. I've been here a few times and loved my nails. I had two times where I wasn't satisfied, but today I wasn't letting it slide. Today, I showed a photo of what I wanted and asked if they could do it... I was told yes and my nails got messed up, shaved down a ton on the uv gel, one was lifting, other were crooked and needed fixing so I asked for a second person. Considering I was there an hour already and pretty much at the end of the service there was only so much the second lady could do for my nails. I was there for an hour and 45 minutes. My cuticles had those mini cuts that sting so bad from the electric filer and my nails weren't done professionally. I understand a business needs to make their money, but my nails were already messed up and not fixed from scratch yet I paid $95 because of french silver line that isn't even straight on all my nails, and two mini hearts on each ring finger that took a year and a day to be done and the lady said asked me if my daughter is picky like me and asked why I wanted the hearts like the photo... uhmm because I like them.... which is what I responded. I said something to the owner about the $95 considering I had to stay an extra 45 minutes and my hands were so sore from being worked on and filed down so long. The owner didn't accommodate me with a discount of any type and when I asked she ignored the question and answered a phone call. I also said about the mini filer cute and this is the second occasion where she asked to see them, but we all know those scabs don't show until later, but the cuts sting like beeBasically not wanting to deal with losing money for their inadequacy. I liked going here and was always able to be seen, but don't have people who don't specialize in certain services to do it because the ones who do aren't a available and don't say yes to designs if your workers cannot do them. Everything is spotless and the facilities look brand new. There was someone cleaning the whole time I was there. I felt very safe with their social distancing and COVID protocols. Just moved back to Westchester from the City and I was looking for a nail salon that didn`t have too many negative reviews. I came across Coco Nails. Just in case, I called ahead of time to confirm an appointment for a regular manicure/pedicure. There is plenty of parking and they took me the second I showed up; the place is very clean and modern, there is an assortment of regular and gel colors. I started with a pedicure and before I started the technician encouraged me to upgrade to the Coco spa pedicure ($65 for a mud wrap for legs, wrapped in hot towels, callus removing, 10 minute leg/foot massage, 10 minute back massage and paraffin wax for your heels). Somewhat pricey, but decided to treat myself. I was a little bothered that midway through the procedure, they switched technicians. The new technician did my manicure and then there was yet another switch and a different technician did my back massage. Overall, I was generally happy with the end result. The reason I gave 3 stars is because the constant switching of technicians and subsequent tipping of 3 different people really bothered me. I`m not sure why this was done; the salon wasn't busy at all when I was there. Also, I don't think the customer should be burdened with this. My old salon made it a point to not do this to customers and if this did happen, not make the customer feel immensely obligated to have to tip everyone. I did not get that vibe here (in fact felt more obligated) and I asked the lady at the front desk if this usually happens and she advised yes because certain technicians are requested to provide certain services . Fine, but they should assign someone that can take care of everything the customer requests during their appointment. Some other things that might be cons: just read on another review that they create a point systems; but you only gain points if you use cash; you can`t tip on your card (there is an ATM with a fee of $.99); and there isn`t a general manicure/pedicure package. This place is fairly new, fresh and clean with a lot of services. I have had gel manicures and honeymoon pedicures. I noticed that they routinely do things that I had to pay for at previous places such as put on the warm cream hand softening gloves after the manicure. And they are appreciative of my business-- I left a one place in the past because I was treated with open contempt by the owner, so I have become a little sensitive to this.
