Asked for a design and asked if they were able to do it and they said they could and did an absolutely horrible job then proceeded to laugh with other technicians about the bad design. Constantly picking up phone calls while applying my acrylics. Not the length I asked for or shape. Paint is chipped. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I needed to get my nails done with gel polish for an important event. I asked for ombre nails and they said they didn't do that, which was fine so I asked for a simple french tip with pink tips instead of white. I picked a color that was labeled as a hot pink(like in the photo of what I asked for) and asked the woman who was doing my nails to pick a nude color that would go well with the pink. When I sat down, she began to file off my acrylic saying that the acrylic was gel color. I explained that it was just the color of the acrylic powder and then she argued with me about it insisting that she take off my acrylics. I persisted and she finally stopped trying to take off my nails. When repairing my nail that she filed off, she pulled out a dirty old face cream container filled with monomer and another dirty old face cream container with acrylic powder. Then as she's finishing painting my nails she's speaking to the woman next to her in another language and the only word that was said in english was "whore". I was so shocked i couldn't believe she had called me a whore to her coworker. I was then forced to pay $37 for this terrible manicure with hideous colors. I will never be going back to this place nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. read more

I've been here a couple of times and I've never had a bad experience. The staff is usually friendly and prompt. They don't really try to get a conversation going, but hey, they're just trying to do their jobs! They at least look like they're having fun with each other, which is good. I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes without an appointment. They also do a great job with pedicures. The guy I had paid super close attention to my feet! Most would just rush through but this guy really took his time! Prices aren't bad either. I would come back if I'm in the neighborhood. read more

I used to go here because it was the closest and the cheapest nail salon near me. But they keep raising their prices and the higher their prices get, the worse they get. The staff is very rude and they always rush to get rid of me. I am pretty sure they talk bad about me and whoever else walks in there in Chinese as well. Very unprofessional. read more

This place is horrible. The workers are all nasty and rush to get the job done. I went in 2 weeks ago for just a pedicure and the girl was rushing the entire time that I even had to ask her to slow down because, besides myself, there were 2 other people in the entire salon so there was no need to rush. After I was finished I paid, and I only had a single on me for a tip, usually I'd run back to the car because I always tip but the girl made it so obvious she was annoyed by her tip that I didn't even bother plus she did a terrible job. I really wish I checked the reviews before coming to this place, because 5/6 reviews being one star was incredibly accurate. This nail salon was a sh*t show and I will not be going back. First, they started painting my toenails with somebody else's color. Then they made me wait to have my fingernails painted halfway through the manicure because someone else came in very late for her appointment, which also caused her to rush my manicure. So I had to sit and wait after this lady was already tipped and paid to have my fingernails painted by somebody else, who rushed that as well. When I had them dried, nobody gave me massage even though all the other customers got a little massage while their nails dried. Additionally, they play fast-paced music there which does not fit the relaxed ambiance a nail salon is supposed to have. After three dry cycles no one has come to check on me to help with my shoes or anything, so I get up and ask for help only to have to wait again. When the lady comes over, she has the nerve to say I think your nails are dry enough for you to do it so I tell her well I don't want to mess them up, so she makes me wait AGAIN. Meanwhile, they have another lady massaging the late appt woman while she's getting her nails done. Additionally, they did not use clean materials at all and the place was just dirty in general. Not nice at all. Anyways. When my original person finally comes over, I ask her why this lady is being treated better than everyone else in this place and what do I have to do to be treated like that. She replied that she had an appt and she had only 15 minutes to take me, even though they took another person after me as well before the one with an appt. So I told her she should have either not taken me, or told me she only had 15 minutes. Which was also just a lie too bc the other man who worked there was saying that she showed up super late, so there was no way of knowing it would be 15 minutes. I was so disgusted with this service I ended up taking my tip back because they did nothing to deserve it, and leaving with my shoes not fully on bc they still did not do it. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Been going to Classic for many years and they consistently do a very nice job no matter who you get. Prefer good work and reasonable pricing to location aesthetics. I really appreciate they are not trying to push extras, like some of their competitors. Tried a few other places around Eastchester and Tuckahoe and for me Classic deserves my business. There were a few days this summer their a/c broke down and I feel they should have fixed it right away. read more
