This mark didn't exists when I dropped off the dress. When the next day (48 hrs before wedding) it was still there, she stopped replying to my messages. The front of my strapless dress was lopsided becoz she had removed boning to create room around the back zipper, so much so that she offered putting pads to fill the giant gap between my chest and the front. She has no idea how to do French bustles and instead suggests inverted-cones by pulling the dress up and pinning on the outside. Unprofessional and irresponsible. Not to mention how she runs a sweat shop in her garage, working the seamstress on weekends and odd hours.

As a curvier bride, I was definitely intimidated to start wedding dress shopping because of the sizing industry, but Denise and her team completely changed that for me. Natalia's experience quickly narrowed down a few styles for me and she helped me breeze through try-ons for over a dozen dresses during my private appointment in her bright, cheery shop. We decided a custom style, pulling inspiration from a few gowns, was best for my unique vision. She was so talented and quickly sketched up a sample for me and took measurements. Contract signed and payment up front, all I had to do was wait for their skilled seamstresses to do their magic. Turmoil in Eastern Europe delayed the arrival of my dress since it was caught up in customs with significant shipping delays through Feb/March. Natalia proactively communicated updates to me and moved mountains to get my dress to NY on time, with a backup dress tailored for me and ready to go just in case. 7 days before the wedding, we were thrilled that my original dress arrived and Natalia personally hand sewed a few final adjustments for me while I was in the shop, making sure I had peace of mind and left with my beautiful dress in hand. Friends and family commented all weekend that my dress was like a fairytale, that I looked like a princess, and that it was incredibly special. I am getting married in June and needed my wedding dress cleaned (it was a sample sale) and I…read morewanted to change some things to my dress. When I first met the owner, Mel, he said he would be able to do the work I wanted and gave me a price. Moving forward a couple of months, I went back many times, and I found that work was either not done (after giving him 2+ months) or things were rushed. I had to call him almost every time, to check on the status of my dress. Not once did someone reach out to me about coming in. In addition, Mel initially said he would hold my dress in the shop, since my wedding was a decent amount of months away. When it was ready, I went to look at the final touches and was told I needed to take it home. The price was also MUCH higher, than what I was told, initially. While the work was being done, an increase in price was never communicated to me. Last week, I took my dress to an actual bridal shop, because I was not happy with the work on my dress. The bridal shop listened to my concerns and had to undo a lot of the work, that had been done, by Mel. On top of what I initially paid, I now how to pay to get it fixed. Furthermore, Gruber's did clean my dress and did take it in a lot, since it wasn't my correct size; but when it came to details, I wish he would have just said that he was not able to do what I wanted and it would have been better to take it to a bridal shop.

I needed her to take up the hem line (one layer of polyester lining) and tule skirt. She also took up the shoulders. The gown was beautifully altered especially considering I gave the gown to her at 7 pm on Dec 23rd and she had it done by Dec 26 at 1 pm. Her price was extremely reasonable.

They also sell other party stuff like envelope boxes, purses and floral crowns. I got my daughter's floral crown for $20 there. I would definitely recommend her if you want affordable alternations. I will say I had a great experience with hair/makeup and dress but photography was such a horrible experience. We saw sample pictures beforehand and decided to go with Rahel but the pictures we actually got were no where near what we were given. I will preface and say that we were pre-warned that we were double booked that day and were not going to get the main photographer,however, I am not just upset at the quality of photos but just the lack of professionalism that followed. We ended up taking studio photos that day with the main photographer which actually were edited and came out nice, however, the pictures taken at the venue were terrible with the other photographers. Many of the pictures looked like we were inside a club due to horrible flash. Many pictures we were washed out with flash directly in our faces. Not just that but barely none were edited. We just got a photo dump of nearly 7 gbs of just raw pictures. We hired photography to get professional pictures but we just ended up with a photo dump of just raw photos and terrible ones at that. The worst part is I tried emailing the group about my concerns 3 times with NO response and am just amazed at their unprofessionalism with their clients. I guess once they have your money they just have no regard for you. If at least there was some dialogue about the situation I don't think I would have been as upset but the fact that before the wedding they were very responsive to the silence that followed afterwards is just what is very upsetting.
