Christina accommodated many appointments and stayed late when the appointment ran late. I'm giving three stars SOLELY because of my experience with alternations. I was told before I bought my dress that altering the sleeves would be no problem. So I said yes to the dress because I was told the sleeves could be changed and was super excited. During my first fitting I was told by the seamstress that the sleeves couldn't be altered the way I was told they could. And if I wanted them like that I wouldn't be able to move my arms. If this was explained to be before buying the dress, I probably would've thought twice about that particular dress. (I would've undoubtedly bought my dress from Sister's Bridal because the service and selection was great). The alterations were very stressful and took 4, maybe 5, fittings to get the sleeves to look semi like what I was originally told (I live an hour+ away, and had to leave work early for many of these appointments). And the seamstress seemed VERY bothered by my alteration request. One my wedding day it was a disappointment with the way the custom alterations looked. The sleeves were uneven. One side held higher on my shoulder and the other wouldn't hold on my shoulder, it was lower on my arm. I can see this in every single forward facing picture from my wedding day. I can't even explain how disappointing that is. It wasn't how I was wearing it either. One side was altered differently and when I tried to move the other side down, material folded awkwardly. When I tried to move the lower side up, it pulled too much and wouldn't stay. Trust me, I tried! So, my advice is buy a dress you love 100% as is and IF you want custom alternations, have the actual seamstress there to say it can be done before buying the dress.

When I got engaged, I knew that Christina was the one that I wanted to go to. She was so helpful and continues to be. She did not have the dress I wanted in her store so I tried it on somewhere else. She ordered it for me and everything. So many vendors would pressure you into sales and instead I felt like Christina genuinely had my best interest in mind. I even got my bridesmaid dresses from her and every bridesmaid has raved about their service at the boutique. When the time came for my fittings, the seamstress worked hard to make sure that the dress fit just the way that I wanted it to. Everyone was so patient and extremely helpful. Christina and her staff made my wedding dress experience the better than I could have ever imagined. Don't go anywhere else --you won't be disappointed if you go to Sister's!!

One bride at a time and it's pretty much a one woman show. Receipts are all manual paper and communication is done via email. I was the one to reach out about my first fitting to organize, so you might need to be a little on top of scheduling (but that could also just be my anxious bridal brain reaching out super early). Maryann has a great selection. Most things are more traditional in style and I was worried I wouldn't find the right one but my dress felt unique to me. I got so many compliments on my wedding day. Maryann has a great eye and let me try on SO many dresses. She helped advise based on the venue and weather. She even recommended I get a block heel shoe because of the gravel. Something I wouldn't have thought about at all. She's a real veteran! I had a tight budget of $1,500 that I struggled with at other places. At another spot I even had someone put a dress on me that was $3,500 without telling me. Maryann was so respectful about my budget. When I sheepishly told her my cap she said, "oh, no problem! We'll find your dress!" She has a big selection with a lot of affordable options. All the alterations are done in house. They were more expensive than I expected at around $900 but they were great. Overall, I'd really recommend at least checking out Adrienne's to try on some dresses. She's got a great selection and you'll get a lot of support with your selection.

While I initially loved the dress I found, the overall process was stressful, poorly handled, and incredibly disappointing. My first appointment was in June 2024 (just shy of a year out from my wedding date), and I placed a deposit that day on a dress I loved. My first fitting was on July 26, 2024, and I was told to wait until after the holidays for the next one. After emailing in January 2025, I was told fittings could begin in late March or early April. A second fitting scheduled for April 5 was canceled due to the owner's family emergency. We rescheduled for April 19, where I tried on the dress after the first round of alterations. While the hem fit fine, the straps didn't sit correctly, and the cups inside the dress were loosely sewn and noticeable from the top. After adding a few pins for further alterations, Maryann (the owner) recommended shipping the gown to me since only minor adjustments were needed to fix the straps and cups. After multiple emails with no response, I had to call twice before the dress was finally shipped. It arrived on May 20 (less than a month before my wedding), and I was devastated by its condition. The dress arrived wrinkled and dirty instead of pressed and cleaned, but the truly devastating part was the awful alterations. The neckline, which only needed slight adjustments, had been cut from scoop to square, the cups were still poorly sewn, the straps were uneven, and the back puckered. We sent photos and spoke to Maryann, who offered to fix it if we returned to NYC or pay for alterations here in Maryland. After months of poor communication and rushed work, we no longer trusted her and opted to have a local seamstress attempt to fix the dress. Our local seamstress confirmed that the neckline had been cut (despite Maryann assuring us it hadn't) and had to completely reconstruct the front using the material from the back bow, which had been one of my favorite details. The emergency alterations cost $500 and were completed just 3 days before my wedding. Maryann reimbursed us for alterations plus $200, but we did not find this acceptable compensation, as the dress no longer matched the original design, and her handling of the problems was dismissive and unprofessional. I have full documentation of this timeline. While I appreciate the partial reimbursement, the poor communication, missed deadlines, and awful alterations caused enormous stress in the final weeks before my wedding. I regret not trusting the negative reviews and do not recommend Adrienne's.

While the venue was beautiful and the…read morevendors were kind and engaging, I was deeply disappointed by the apparent lack of integrity in the way the main raffle--the event's primary draw--was conducted. At the start of the raffle, I observed a blonde staff member quietly place a ticket in front of a bride seated beside me, who showed no reaction. That bride later handed the ticket to her fiancé. At the end of the event, the same staff member returned to announce the honeymoon winner, reading a pre-drawn ticket number. The bride and her mother nudged the fiancé--who hadn't even looked at his ticket--before he finally claimed the prize, awkwardly feigning surprise. It was the same blue ticket placed in front of them at the start. This sequence of events strongly suggests that the outcome was predetermined. It is extremely disappointing to witness such a lack of fairness, integrity, and transparency, especially at an event meant to celebrate such meaningful moments. I am happy for anyone winning an amazing honeymoon - but the fact that it was rigged to gift to someone predetermined soured my experience and trust in attending any future events. Beyond the disappointment in the moment, the implications of this are significant. Many brides came with genuine excitement and invested their time, under the impression that they had a fair chance at the prize. The rigged grand prize not only undermines that trust but also damages the credibility of the organizers and participating vendors. I was not the only witness. For upcoming bridal shows, I will not be attending any run by this company - and I highly advise any brides attending or thinking of it to come in with the expectation that the main prize is likely someone the staff knows or has prearranged with to win.

Ok here I go. This is for sure going to be my longest review so please bare with me. The only…read morereason why I went to this place to begin with is because it's across the street from my favorite pool store. I just happened to see it and didn't check for reviews. What a big mistake! The old man assisting us seemed ok at first, he was even cracking jokes, but then I noticed he was getting annoyed when I asked him for different colors and styles. And when I asked him for a shirt his answer was "a shirt is a shirt " as he rolled his eyes. Then he told my son he was going to have to imagine the vest on. I thought he was joking and laughed but then I realized he wasn't , and said no, he would like to try it on please. He yelled at me from across the room " Come on, come on !". I kept my cool ( thinking wow! what a grumpy, rude old man). However, I told my son to just change because we were going somewhere else. Then the old man came back with a vest and with an attitude he said "here!" and handed my son the vest. While we were there, there was only one other person in the store who walked in to pick up his prom tuxedo. So I guess he was overwhelmed with "two" customers. Just because he was old an we all know how old people sometimes become grumpy, I didn't want to be disrespectful so I told him my son will come back with his girlfriend to make sure the tuxedo and accessories match her dresses, since they have 2 proms. The man's answer was to make sure he knows what he wants because he can't try everything on because everything he tried on had to be dry cleaned according to covid regulations.... O.....k. That is not my problem, tuxedo rentals are expensive. So I finally told him not to worry about him because my son was not going back. I told him, calmly, that he needed to have patience with his customers, we can't just go and get an outfit for a very special day without trying it on and making sure that it's what we want and that it fits nicely. He said he's been in the business for over 50 years, he got in my face trying to intimidate me and said I was rude. To be honest, I really felt like pushing him but Instead I took a step back and told him he was the rude one, and maybe that was the problem, he's been doing it for too long and it was time for him to retire. I walked out as he was yelling I don't know what. By then my blood pressure was trough the roof. Wow! what a bad experience. The good news is that right after I left that shit hole, I went to a store in Rutherford and got everything my son needs for his 2 proms. What a difference! Thank goodness for that. So, since I can't give 0 stars I'm giving it 1. I just read other reviews, I wish I would've done it before walking into that nightmare.
