Love how Leonor did my hair she is seriously talented! She was able to get my hair from a red to a very light brown/mixed with blonde without damaging my hair. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. Definitely will be coming back !

This is my go-to salon when I want to change my hair. Leonor is the best! She was able to do a color correction and left me with pink layers, just like I wanted. She really knows hair and will tell you what to expect depending on your current hair color/cut. I always leave happy and feeling so pretty!

if I could rate this place more then 5 stars I would!!! I asked for Leo and straight off the bat she told me what could be done to my hair since it was 4 shades of red and if you know red is hard to remove. She gave me exactly what I asked for and I left in awe and felt so pretty she did such an amazing job. The other ladies are great company and the salon environment was amazing too great vibes. I would 100% go back and recommend this salon even if it's a drive for you it's so worth it!

I decided to check out this place after seeing they had some decent yelp reviews. I called ahead but I was basically a walk-in. As far as covid goes they do take your temperature and they have you wear your mask, so that is one good thing. So, Maggie is the one doing my hair, I showed her a few pictures of what I wanted, a silver balayage on dark brown hair (granted I already had an ombre hair with bleached highlights. She seems nice we start talking and she gets to work. This is not my first rodeo and I know this a long process, but after three hours I'm still in the hair washing station which by the way it was the most uncomfortable chair I ever sat on. My butt, my back, my neck my everything was hurting. I feel Maggie struggling with my hair and I asked her how much longer because I was tired of sitting down and I had an appointment I need to be at in one hour. She stated that I needed more bleach because I had a yellow patch?? I was wondering how that happened? I was annoyed but I had no choice and I let her continue. After a few minutes, I see one of the other stylists walk by, I think her name was Lupe, but she decided to help Maggie and take over. Mind you by this time it was more than three hours sitting down and I was tired. Anyway, Lupe starts moving fast after I explained that I needed to leave soon. She was not that nice and was rough when handling my head and hair, I felt she was also annoyed maybe because I complained, who knows but it was just weird. She blew dried my hair super fast but still being rough and rude. Bottom line is that I was there 4 hours and I came out with mediocre hair. Nothing like what I wanted from the beginning. Maggie was nice, but she was really sloppy, I literally had black dye inside my ears and all over my cheeks, my earrings were black as well. The price was average, I paid $120 for the service and although I didn't want to leave a tip, I still left a $40 tip because they took the time. I was very disappointed and well, I'm sure you can guess that I won't be going back here.

I love my hair ! I went in there having an idea that I wanted a balayage style, Leonor delivered ! I love the color and the texture of my hair after the dye is amazing I see no damage to my hair what so ever. This was my first time dying my hair so I was really nervous but Leonor was there to help me out and got straight to work. They take their time and they really are prideful about their work. I was trying to find a salon at the last minute. I knew without an appointment no one would want to see me but when I called Coco Look they right away said yes. Best decision I've made! So this is my first time getting my hair done at a professional salon ! My experience was long but very much worth it! My hair is extremely curly and thick ! Leo was able to do my hair so beautifully . The color caught on super well! The first lady who was supposed to do my hair did not make it until 2 hour into my hair. My sister and I came here. My sister desperately needed a haircut and we found this cute little place in Sylmar. I saw that they had good reviews and that their prices were fair, so we thought it wouldn't hurt to try it out. At first we had a difficult time finding the place, so I called and one of the employees gave me directions she was even nice enough to come outside and flag us down. When we came inside the salon it had a really nice vibe to it and the two ladies working here were really nice. My sister asked for layers and for all the dead hair to be trimmed. The lady did a good job and at the end blow dried my sisters hair. My sister is happy with the results and I am too. We both recommend this cute little salon. read more

My friend convinced me to dye my hair a bright color and helped me do it at home. Needless to say it turned out very badly. I came by today to see if she could fix it, and it came out better than I could ever imagine. My hair was also incredibly damaged from the bleach and she made it look better than it ever has. Today was my first time here, found them on yelp. I got a haircut with Linda. She was so friendly and professional. I loved the way my hair turned out. I think this is one of the best haircuts I've ver gotten. I showed Linda a picture of the style I wanted and she was able to do exactly what I asked for. Would Like to start with saying that this review is not a reflection of Leo she is amazing. This review is based on a staff member that had extremely poor customer service. She had no regard to customer satisfaction. Sonia was extremely rude and unprofessional. I would think twice before booking with Sonia if you truly want to feel welcomed and truly satisfied with the service book with Leo otherwise you will come out feeling like they are doing you a favor rather than a service. read more

so the first time i came here was for prom. i didnt know what to expect but i am happy i came here. initially i was intimidated: 1) being a first timer and 2) this place is a definite spanish speaking community. and well, for a filipino-american living in sylmar, i should've expected this and the three years in spanish weren't clicking in my head, so communication at first was kind of hard. I got Lupe. Really sweet, she spoke partial english, and that was somewhat helpful. at first the conversation was dry and the only thing she ever talked about was whether the curl looked good. then i said gracias and thats when some form of communication was occurring, not like the way everyone in the salon was speaking, but it was a good start. she was really friendly and patient with me trying to conprehend her language and accent. i enjoyed her company and as we kept talking i became less tense and started a form of trust. she was also able to do my prom hair in about an hour and at such late notice. PROPS!! so i've got to say i really enjoyed my first time here and i can't wait to come back in the future :) read more

I'm not sure if she misunderstood what shoulder length means or if she thought my chin was my shoulder. I could see the panic in her eyes when she realized the mistake and offered to thin out my hair, but there was no way I was letting her cut anything else. Yes, hair grows back, but I had already mentioned that I had a wedding in two days. I was left trying to figure out how to style hair that's much shorter than what I asked for. I could have voiced my complete dissatisfaction, but honestly, it doesn't matter--they've lost a customer.

She treats me like if I'm the only customer, her hair highlights are the best in the valley. Her advice on how to mix colors or how long change a new hair style are the best. Absolutely wonderful! Sonia does an exceptional job with the Vegan Brazilian Blowout! Although, it does contain chemicals, the damage is minimum in comparison to all other chemical treatments. She has the magic touch in creating wondrously extravagant masterpieces with one's hair! Thank you very much, Sonia! You're the best!! read more
