Coco Loco is putatively the world's first certified organic and fair trade 'chocolat' bar. It is also home of the famous 'kashew mylk' or cashew milk for those plebs out there. Wank aside, Coco Loco actually does do a damn fine hot chocolate or 'chocolat' as their rich goey brand of beverage is called.
All around the room that is Coco Loco, you will see old photographs of the owner's grandfather Mostafa Sherbini. A world champion ballroom dancer in the late 1920's and founder of Coco Loco. It is a reminder of 1920's jazz inspired theme of this place. And a reminder that the famous Coco Loco chocolat is a family legacy of genreations.
Other than supremely rich hot chocolates, Coco Loco serves a range of truffles and desserts. Which makes it an interesting place to go. Even a desirable. But in my view not really something you can frequent all too often, because how often do you really feel like a deliciously rich hot chocolate when walking up High Street any given evening? Well the answer for me is not that often, I would rather eat my fill at a savoury restaurant and use up surplus stomach room with a wine or two. But if you do like hot chocolate done supremely and truffles to die for, you cannot go without a taste of Coco Loco's famous Kashew Mylk Chocolat. read more
