Communication/Customer Service: Horrible, probably the WORST I have ever experienced. Trying to get ahold of this business is like trying to pull the sword out of the stone; literally near impossible. Their voicemail is perpetually full so you can't even leave a voicemail message for a return call. When you do get someone to answer, they don't identify the business name, and the demeanor is as though you are inconveniencing them. Extremely unprofessional. We recently used this business for (7) suit rentals for a wedding. They were the retailer for Jim's Formal Wear (who is a fantastic company, btw, nothing bad to say about them whatsoever as they have been assisting us in dealing with this business). Trying to coordinate our party to come in to get measured was a chore to put it nicely. Once they started going in, they were told shoes were not included (which they were), so I had to again try to get in touch to rectify that detail. They also lost some of our party measurements so that also had to be re-done. Jim's Formal Wear runs a promotion that when (5) suits are rented, the Groom's suit is free. We were told by the business that we'd have to contact Jim's Formal Wear for that refund. Come to find out, the business was already provided the money for our Groom's suit and was supposed to pass that on to us and not charge us at all. They took advantage of the promotion, kept the funds from Jim's Formal Wear, and never passed that on to us as the consumer, but instead KEPT IT FOR THEMSELVES. I truly don't know how this person is still in business.

I thought that was weird and it was. The prescription was never run through my insurance, that copay was made up by the pharmacist because he did not like the reimbursement. I will just say that this 100% illegal. They have a contract with my insurance company, regardless of the reimbursement. Meaning they are obligated to fill my prescription at whatever cost to them. I am going to be refilling my prescription in a few weeks, we will see how much the guy behind the counter "thinks" he's going to charge me. The staff know you by name when they see you and go out of their way to assist by contacting your doctor's office if the prescription is not there. I drive from Fall River to go the Apothecary. Their prices are comparable to all other pharmacy chains. The value is outstanding. I highly recommend the Westport Apothecary. It's a real gem in a world where the remaining pharmacies have become retail chains with personalized services that evaporated when the giant conglomerates bought up all the independent pharmacies.

As soon as I walked in, I wondered why it had taken me so long to check it out. Located in an old warehouse, CMI doesn't have that warehouse feel. A good size room, filled with hand-braided rugs and baskets, the place is cheerful and inspiring. Even though I wasn't looking to buy anything, I just couldn't resist purchasing a Pawtucket rug (made from scraps of fabric) and a basket (perfect for storing those odds and ends). The staff were friendly and helped with moving rugs, giving the background to how they are made, and helping to roll them up for take away. While I was there during a huge sale, it seems that even the normal prices are pretty reasonable, as it was, I got a full area rug for less money that my IKEA rug cost me. And it is more beautiful, better made, and local. S This place has been there for 20 years, and is still a hidden gem.
