We had a lovely chat with the owner. The outdoor seating was simple and comfortable. My crepe was fabulous. It had shredded duck with a delicious gravy, vegetables and, I think lentils. Each bite was enjoyable! The side salad was tasty and a good compliment. In an era where restaurants are having a hard time finding good waitstaff, they have, which, I suspect says much about the owners. Would I recommend? Yes Would I return? Yes

Creperie Chez Suzette is located on Rue Saint Paul which is in the heart of Old Montreal. You would…read moresuspect tourist prices but actually they are quite reasonable and lower than surrounding restaurants. Surprized and delighted by the prices. The creperie has been converted from a clothing store in 1996 from a historical building. There is both a main floor and upper floor dinning area with multiple rooms some much older with a nostalgic look while others are modern. Outdoor seating is also available. I would not come to Montreal and not have crepes. I like both savory & sweet offerings. Creperie Chez Suzette had a 4.5 rating on Yelp so this was my choice on a Thursday afternoon. They have a large menu offering sandwiches, soups (French onion) fondu and salads. I went with the sweet crepe ($18.05) and latte ($6.99). The crepe cut easily with a fork, it was served hot and delicious. I would order it again. The latte was good but could have been cheaper. This place has lines so the service can be delayed at times.

If you visit more towards the end of apple picking season, the crowds are more manageable and it's a fun activity with friends and family. $3 to enter without a bag and $25 for a bag with two entrances. There is also a crepe restaurant (reserve in advance!) and a spot to try out some cider. You also have a spot to grab some local homemade groceries. I recommend trying the apple beignets and homemade chips while you are there!
