Bad Situation Turned Good…read more This past Friday, November 17th, I purchased two Andis products from this store (1 Andis Profoil Shaver /1 Andis T-Outliner). To my dismay after returning home, while attempting to turn on the T-Outliner, I found it to be inoperable. Unable to return the product that day due to a weekend trip out of town, I returned to the store today to exchange this product and to ask about the possibility of exchanging the "Andis" Shaver for a "Wahl" Shaver. Upon my return to the store, I had a negative experience with "Jay", the store manager. He questioned me (did you drop it?) and alluded to me being untruthful after seeing a hair follicle on the side of the T-Outliner (which may have been picked up from my bathroom while using another product). After some back and forth, between myself, my brother and Jay, Jay tested the product and confirmed that it did indeed not work. He tested another T-Outliner and allowed me to exchange the defective product for the working one. Consequently, after Jay opened the box for the Shaver, he identified hair shavings inside the blade opening, keeping in mind I had not opened the box. I was shocked by this. Jay informed me that he could not exchange the shaver and that the new Outliner was non-returnable. After this interaction, I was angered and very offended. I quickly decided to call back to the store to gain the owner's contact information to further discuss the matter. After making several attempts to call, I finally got in touch with someone. To my dismay, it was Jay, the associate I had interacted with prior. Jay informed me that he was the owner. I explained to him how I had felt about his rudeness and after several minutes of talking, Jay apologized and informed me that he would accommodate my need to exchange the shaver. Long story short, Jay handled our altercation in a professional manner. He admitted that he had maybe based our interaction from past experiences from customers that tried to get over on them. I definitely understand this viewpoint, as I have worked customer service for several years. Overall, Jay made my day by taking time to hear me out and assisting me. I will definitely return to this store just because of how this young man handled this situation. He owned up to his mistake and helped me out in the end.I have much respect for him and his willingness to turn a bad situation into a very positive one. Thanks Jay! The store is overflowing with inventory, especially hair products, wigs and braids. They seem to have pretty much everything one would seek in a beauty store. The store is crowded but clean and I've found the staff to always be friendly and helpful. The large parking lot shared with the rest of the tenants of the mostly empty Holly Point Shopping Center ensures you will be able to find a convenient space to park.

But while on my route, I came across this beauty store... This store located in an almost vacant shopping area. I believe Farm Fresh was located here and with it no longer occupying the space, this area looks like a ghost town. Aside from the beauty supply store there is maybe one or two other stores in the corner of the shopping area. Nevertheless, my baby and I decided to check them out. The amount of cars in the parking lot suggested that maybe one or two people were inside, but when we stepped foot inside, there were at least 10 people inside. I thought, this place must be kinda popular. We visited on a late afternoon and was impressed by how neat the store was set up. We did find what we were looking for... I asked an associate about some other hair I was looking for... Either she wasn't familiar or ... I don't know. But I ended up spotting what I was looking for and showed the associate what I was referring to. Overall, if I am in the area I may stop by again to fully check out the store. Our main goal was achieved and for that I am satisfied. I'd recommend you check this store out too... not my favorite, but it was definitely convenient.

Her name is Morgan and she is phenomenal with a silk press and curls definitely would recommend if you ever want to get your hair done and glam up or need a updo for future style she's the one for you. My very first appointment was very smooth and very good. I got pin curls with my silk press in each time that I have got service with her. It's always last in a significant time. And my hair stays consistent of how it started and that's most important for me when it comes to my hair texture. And she was very knowledgeable with giving me tips in regards of keeping my style in as well as maintaining it and I love that as well. The salon is located in the back end of the store blending in with the other sections nearby in its on area. They do offer other services I saw including touch ups for any one who is looking for a quick touch that was $35 dollars and silk press is $91 plus tax definitely worth the price and the results are amazing. She rudely asked me multiple times why I was there and. just told her I was looking. She accused me of stealing when I was looking at the rings posted right in front of the cashier with no bad intentions. For a full pack of 10 in. black human hair and a half of a pack of two colors both 10 in. my total was about $56. So that a full pack and two half packs of straight 100% human hair. The store has a lot going on and it was a little crowded. But they had a lot of products. They sell earrings, makeup, nail supplies, wigs, perfume, and more. The owner overcharged me on accident, so he gave me $3 off towards anything in the store. So I thought that was nice! I like their earrings because they're cheap and I won't freak out if I lose them. I like this store, mainly because the owner doesn't follow you around like I've experienced in some other hair stores. Check them out!!

Randomly stopped here with a friend that has visited before and it was a good experience. The store isn't huge, but it isn't crowded inside. This store has just about everything you could be looking for! They also had a sale for wigs (2 for $50) which isn't a bad price. They also have various other items than hair that you definitely need in your life. On top of everything, the employee (owner?) was so welcoming and made us feel at home.
