When we went, there was only one woman working and handling all the orders that day. The quesabirria tacos are $6.50 and the regular birria tacos are $5. You may think it's expensive for a taco but the portions are HUGE and they do not skimp on the meat. Honestly such a great deal! The agua frescas are $5 and come in a big cup (about 32 oz). They aren't the best I've had since I don't think they're made with fresh fruit, but still refreshing and enjoyable. My husband ordered the California burrito, which wasn't really our favorite. The tortilla was huge but not a lot of food inside of it. There are definitely better spots for that, but their birria is the real winner here. We'll definitely be back for more birria tacos and maybe to try the barbacoa next time!

The food was delicious, I always order chilaquiles at any new restaurant because they are my favorite and a good way to see how good the food can be and these hit every mark. Most people who eat here are the local neighbors. Definitely a hole in the hole, besides the name, with a family service and friendly vibe. The consommé was the best part, it had huge hunks of beef inside. (it was super flavorful, not too oily, not too salty)  I shared this meal at home and we had leftover consommé. The following 2 days I had fresh corn tortillas from the local Mexican market so I grilled them with some cheese and ate every drop of that delicious consommé.  Hands down the best thing about Birria tacos is the consommé. It was so good I could have just drank it. It pretty much is the same thing for good ramen or pho, it's all about the broth. They are generous with the carne asada, add a good amount of guacamole, and I really like that they use Monterey Jack cheese. Their red salsa is mild but flavorful and goes really well with the fries. Another plus is how quick the service is, especially when you only get a 30-minute lunch break. I can call ahead, grab my food and still have enough time to actually enjoy it before heading back to work. The carne asada fries keep me coming back, but one of these days I will try out some of their other dishes.

I was seated promptly and given chips and salsa while I looked over the menu. They also provided their lunch specials, which ended up being a great value.
