We have a two year old and we basically had to drag him out he wanted to stay there all day. There is soft play area where there's no shoes where the very little ones can crawl around and play with big pillows and soft sticks. There's a big yarn thing to climb on. There's a big water area for them to play with pipes and running water. There's a few big tables and pits with hundreds of legos, a book corner, and a big floor to ceiling interactive screen room which was amazing. There's also an outside area with rock walls and climbing areas. You can park your stroller at the start where there are bathrooms and hand washing area as well as a place to fill your water bottles. The museum itself was really nice with multiple floors of interesting topics from dinosaurs to space to an earthquake simulator. I think for those floors it's best to be 3-4 or older. Everything is still very stroller accessible!

However my friend has a busted knee, which wouldn't allow her to climb stairs. She's already walking like a pirate. I went to 3 other parking garages before I found one that felt safe with an easy walk. We purchased tickets in advance ($17 - Super Sweet Karaoke) General Admisson. As we entered The Sweet Tooth Hotel you could hear the off-key Karaoke in the bar area. We received a room key at the desk for the additional 7-8 rooms. The first three rooms were vibrant and full of local art installations. I was obsessed with the Mad Hatter's tea Party themed room. The bar is fun! Lots of reflective mirrors. You can purchase desserts here as well as cocktails. I wish this place stayed open until 1am. We stayed until closing which was (11pm) I ordered the "sunset dream" cocktail. All cocktails are $8 on Fridays. The bartender gave great suggestions. I would definitely recommend going here if you're in the city.

They have Renoirs, Picassos, Monets, and so much more. The bathrooms are surprisingly very nice, the AC was absolutely on point, and it was not crowded when we visited. A perfect spot to get a little culture in between meals. Honestly, a must hit for out of town visitors looking for something fun to do that does not involve eating. Be sure to hit the gift store too, a museum gift shop is usually well curated, and this one is no exception! (though I will say the lady working the store had a sh:tty attitude)

It's a wild feeling being at the corner window where history took place on the 6th floor, overlooking Dealey Plaza. You can see how everything was laid out visually for the moment in history to unfold. I think it's worth it to spend less than $30 bucks to come up and have that unique vantage point. It's an unfortunate event in American history, and it continues to live on as the tragedy that it was.

The museum is self-guided, so you can take your time going through everything. That being said, the crowds were a bit much for us. We were the second group in line, but still ended up waiting quite a while to get upstairs. Once we got to the exhibit, there were so many people that it was difficult to comfortably stop and read everything without feeling like you were in everyone's way. I'd also say this probably isn't a great activity for younger kids. There's a lot of reading and historical information, and the subject matter is pretty serious. The museum does offer educational programs for school groups, but for a typical family visit, I think older kids/teens who are genuinely interested in history would get more out of it. Overall, definitely worth experiencing if you're interested in JFK history, but go in expecting crowds and a very serious, reading-heavy museum experience.

Great speakers, relevant to the occasion and Dallas & the lengths of the talks were perfect. Friendly staff & I loved it that parking was directly across the street (it's downtown). The museum is beautiful and even though Juneteenth was the occasion, I so appreciated that we could view the museum in its entirety & learn a ton about the Holocaust. They did an excellent job of telling the story & their docents were super knowledgeable. I'm addicted to magnets, so I bought one in their gift shop where the items were reasonably priced. Good experience. Horrendous atrocities suffered by both groups. Valuable history lessons were shared that day though for all in attendance.
