I understand people will clear the shelves if they wouldn't have a limit, but I drive 40 miles round trip to go to the Beeville Walgreens and it's very disappointing when I was only allowed to purchase to on sale items with my coupon. I stopped using them because it always took forever to get prescriptions filled but I needed to use them last minute because I wouldn't make it back in time to use my local pharmacy like I normally do, and I completely forgot about Walgreens. Anyways, I went inside to get my sons prescription and they said "20-30 minutes, if you'd like you can go through the drive through." So I did and a different lady told me it would be another hour, after I had already waited the 30 minutes like the lady I had talked to first said.

My dad and I walk in and are looking at the only two workers there. They suspiciously stared at us as if we don't belong there. The staring continues until I say "Hello!". I ask if they have sodium chloride tablets and I get a blank look from both men. One man repeats "sodium chloride"?, acting like he doesn't know what it is. A high school chemistry student knows exactly what it is. I tell them we just need some OTC salt tablets and they react almost annoyingly that they don't carry any and suggest I look on Amazon. Well, duh, but I need them now. Fair enough, we walk out. The entire exchange was quite unsettling. The front of the store has what appears to be some old shoes and an old wheelchair and devoid of much else. The two workers were very unwelcoming and acted like they were too busy to be bothered. The whole situation just felt off to me. I'm avoiding leaving one star because they at least acknowledged my presence, but not much else. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
