Stayed here for a Thursday wedding. We called in advance and told no issue with checking in early…read moreas the wedding was like 3:30pm. There was a line of folks checking in at the same time and only one staff person checking everyone in. More than fine - smaller outfit and looked like just 1 computer. Staff person was friendly but hard to understand. We asked for a print out or a receipt when checking in but was told we can only get that at check out. Our room was what we expected but we noticed some construction down the hallway from our room. Thankfully, it wasn't too loud at all. The walls were pretty good - didn't hear too much from neighbors. The TV didn't work when we first got in but after about 10 minutes and new batteries, we were good to go. The ceilings are thin. We heard someone running up and down the hallway on the floor above us on Friday morning very, very early so couldn't really sleep in. The breakfast was okay but they did have a waffle station which was appreciated. Highly suggest sticking with the brewed coffee in the machine or the room. As we booked via the Knot to get the room block rate, we weren't allowed to get a receipt upon checkout. Frustrating and we were told different things by different people but ended up not getting anywhere with Cobblestone. Minor discrepancy on our charge from the quoted amount but we didn't feel like anything was going to happen given the issues with the receipt. All in all, it was an okay stay for the price. Just be prepared for a few bumps along the way.

The layout and decor reminded me of my business travel staple and like Marriott property the Courtyard. There was a full bar just the courtyard, the obligatory fire pit just like a courtyard, but unlike a courtyard as we know Fairfield offers the sad hotel continental breakfast instead of drastically overpriced microwaved Starbucks like a courtyard This location is right off the highway and close to commerce. You gotta drive a little to the shore for better dining but if you just need sustenance fast food is around the corner. You're greeted with a locker stocked with a cozy robe and spa shoes, then welcomed into a serene relaxation lounge offering make your own tea, coffee, and light snacks (yes, even almonds and yogurt-covered raisins!). The spa amenities alone are worth the trip: a refreshing plunge pool, a sauna with icy cloths, a steam room, a waterfall hot tub, and a stunning pool. It's easy to lose track of time moving from one space to the next. There's a no-technology rule, so check online for photos--but honestly, being unplugged makes the experience even better. I booked the Uniquely Yours massage, and it completely melted away my stress-filled knots. If you can, ask for Diana--she's exceptional. The optional CBD cream was a game changer and elevated the entire treatment. And the shower afterward? Incredible. Multiple shower heads, every product you could need, and even a Dyson hair dryer to finish. I could have stayed there all day. If you're looking to truly unplug and let the stress melt away, the spa at Lodge Kohler delivers in every way--thoughtful touches, luxurious amenities, and skilled therapists who make you feel cared for.

At all. The room itself was ok. No tissues, no phone, one single deadbolt lock. The worst was the layout of the step-in shower. In a bold move the designers thought it was a good idea to have just one side of the shower door open so when you turn on the water you can't help but get soaked. Even if you hold the detachable shower head you have to let it go at some point so you can get out and let the water warm up. When you do, it flies around like a garden hose. I got soaked. Ridiculous. I checked out a day early. I was out of patience. Even at $120/night. I'll pass next time.
