My wife is disabled and travels with a small service dog who is always vested, carries an ID card, and is registered and certified; this was noted in our online booking. This was our first stay at any B&B of *any* size; in the past two years we've spent 36 nights at hotels both independent and branded. The room we stayed in, the Moose Room, is very well-equipped with exquisite attention to detail. The bed was pleasure to sleep in and had the most comfortable sheets we've ever encountered in a hotel room. A two-person Kohler whirlpool tub is in the main room. We were astounded at how quickly the tub filled and we were never short of hot water. The shower has a very inexpensive nozzle on it; a removable or rainfall style showerhead would be more befitting the quality of the rest of the room. I can say that Tausheck's is an extremely high quality facility with extreme attention to detail and very comfortable rooms. The Tausheck's should be commended for the quality of the B&B. Unfortunately, I can't say we will be back since we now know that this isn't the type of place for us given our unique situation, which probably doesn't apply to you. If you're a couple looking for a romantic getaway in the "greater Sheboygan" area, I'd highly recommend Tausheck's and think you'd have a great time there. --postscript-- My previous review (which I edited and have subsequently raised the rating to three stars) dealt with some exchanges with the innkeepers specific to accommodating my spouse's service dog. Given that this was the first time that the innkeepers dealt with a service dog in their 12 years of existence, they did accommodate us the best they could with the knowledge they had at the time. We learned after our stay that inns of this size are exempt from the Americans with Disabilities Act as there are 5 or fewer rooms - see 28 C.F.R. § 36.104. This wasn't known to us, or the innkeepers at the time of our stay, so it's unfair for me to dive into the specifics. That being said, I hope that the B&B's web site is revised to reflect this so that any other guests having a similar situation to ours are aware in advance and can make the appropriate decision.

We have been to the hotel before to eat at some of the restaurants, but staying was a whole different experience, truly 5 stars. This is a great place to celebrate any special occasion, they make you feel so special from the moment you walk in. The front desk went over all the amazing amenities the hotel has to offer, and we were even able to check in early, which was so nice. It gave us time to get refreshed before heading out to explore. The hotel is large and feel like you could easily get lost in the halls. The library area has little bits of history throughout, and the hotel even hosts a historic hotel tour if you're interested in learning more. Each room has its own little touch of history too, which I loved. We stayed in a Superior King Room and it had a great amount of space and a plush king bed, a beautiful bathroom with a double vanity, whirlpool tub, and a large shower, plus a wet bar area, plush robes... the list goes on. They even had a large coffee table book with Kohler Company history and vintage Kohler advertisements, which was such a fun decor touch. The turndown service was the cherry on top! They left me a thoughtful birthday note and go our room ready for a us, a nice luxury touch! The shuttle service is so nice to explore just about anything and there are so many amenities we didn't take advantage of like the morning yoga or gym. I cant stop recommending a stay here if you can make it work, its a luxury experience. Throughout our stay we explored the hotel and the different courtyards, restaurants, and the Kohler area and we cant wait to be back!

The Watershed Hotel was the perfect spot! Our stylish, immaculate room overlooked the Sheboygan River. The hotel itself is modern, elegant, and spotless with an airy lobby where a continental breakfast is available each morning. The hotel staff--led by GM Bailey--is friendly and helpful. Sheboygan's not large and the Watershed is just a few minutes from the town's historical downtown. We're looking forward to returning to Sheboygan and another stay at the WH!

At all. The room itself was ok. No tissues, no phone, one single deadbolt lock. The worst was the layout of the step-in shower. In a bold move the designers thought it was a good idea to have just one side of the shower door open so when you turn on the water you can't help but get soaked. Even if you hold the detachable shower head you have to let it go at some point so you can get out and let the water warm up. When you do, it flies around like a garden hose. I got soaked. Ridiculous. I checked out a day early. I was out of patience. Even at $120/night. I'll pass next time.

The layout and decor reminded me of my business travel staple and like Marriott property the Courtyard. There was a full bar just the courtyard, the obligatory fire pit just like a courtyard, but unlike a courtyard as we know Fairfield offers the sad hotel continental breakfast instead of drastically overpriced microwaved Starbucks like a courtyard This location is right off the highway and close to commerce. The lady that got us checked in was so polite and informative. My dad is a member of the club so he knew, but she had no problem going over the amenities and near by fun stuff with me. Even recommended a great place for us to go tomorrow. Rooms, we got three, they're big. My parents room is huge. Value for the price is here. Most places are cramped and tight. This place is giant. I can easily work out in the morning inside the room to beach body cardio blast and I have to move my couch at my own house, not here. The room smells great, the fridge is ice cold, beds are soft. Pool rules are awesome. There's a bar in the hotel, not busy, not the hippest spot, but if I was here with a group of fun folks, I'd be drinking them dry and loving it. Pool had a big beach ball, pool table, packman game, hot tub that was really hot surprisingly. The vaulted ceilings are cool too. Breakfast till 10, all day and night strong coffee. Keep going?.... Ok I will!!! So what prompted me to write this review was the night desk fella, Mathew I believe. I came out of the pool and just flew in today. We had a few beers poolside and I didn't have a lighter, but wanted to go smoke outside. I asked him for a light and he said that he bought some for guests specifically for this situation lol So I borrowed his Green Bay packers lighter and when I brought it back, he said keep it, because he knew what I was going through with the traveling .... My mind literally exploded a bit. Such a kind gesture. I stayed here about 6 years back and nothings changed. They're still super friendly and well run. Plenty of parking, almost zero highway noise, well maintained, and staffed by as I described, real people, with big hearts and good work ethic.
