the hotel is closed but still takes reservations via Booking.com. You find out when you arrive that the place has been dark all year.

The Watershed Hotel was the perfect spot! Our stylish, immaculate room overlooked the Sheboygan River. The hotel itself is modern, elegant, and spotless with an airy lobby where a continental breakfast is available each morning. The hotel staff--led by GM Bailey--is friendly and helpful. Sheboygan's not large and the Watershed is just a few minutes from the town's historical downtown. We're looking forward to returning to Sheboygan and another stay at the WH!

At all. The room itself was ok. No tissues, no phone, one single deadbolt lock. The worst was the layout of the step-in shower. In a bold move the designers thought it was a good idea to have just one side of the shower door open so when you turn on the water you can't help but get soaked. Even if you hold the detachable shower head you have to let it go at some point so you can get out and let the water warm up. When you do, it flies around like a garden hose. I got soaked. Ridiculous. I checked out a day early. I was out of patience. Even at $120/night. I'll pass next time.

The layout and decor reminded me of my business travel staple and like Marriott property the Courtyard. There was a full bar just the courtyard, the obligatory fire pit just like a courtyard, but unlike a courtyard as we know Fairfield offers the sad hotel continental breakfast instead of drastically overpriced microwaved Starbucks like a courtyard This location is right off the highway and close to commerce. You gotta drive a little to the shore for better dining but if you just need sustenance fast food is around the corner. HH is M-TR, free on wine and beer...don't be a cheap skate and tip the bartender a buck on a free drink

It's located near restaurants (BW3, Arby's, Mcdonald's, Subway, Rocky Roccoco) and stores (Walmart, Target, 5 Below, Home Depot). As you enter the hotel you're greeted with a friendly hello from the staff. The lobby includes a fire place, tables, and plenty pf comfy seats which leads into the eating/ bar area for those who wish to hangout downstairs. The pool is rather small, but it's all about the kids right? Fitness room is clean and towels, individual packaged brand new headphones ate available for guests to use. What's also great about the Fitness room is that they have a filtered water dispenser. The hotel provides a FREE happy hour mixer for their guests Monday- Thursday with alcoholic beverages and snacks. Breakfast buffet includes: scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, milk, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cereal, oatmeal, Belgian waffles, & muffins. We have been to the hotel before to eat at some of the restaurants, but staying was a whole different experience, truly 5 stars. This is a great place to celebrate any special occasion, they make you feel so special from the moment you walk in. The front desk went over all the amazing amenities the hotel has to offer, and we were even able to check in early, which was so nice. It gave us time to get refreshed before heading out to explore. The hotel is large and feel like you could easily get lost in the halls. The library area has little bits of history throughout, and the hotel even hosts a historic hotel tour if you're interested in learning more. Each room has its own little touch of history too, which I loved. We stayed in a Superior King Room and it had a great amount of space and a plush king bed, a beautiful bathroom with a double vanity, whirlpool tub, and a large shower, plus a wet bar area, plush robes... the list goes on. They even had a large coffee table book with Kohler Company history and vintage Kohler advertisements, which was such a fun decor touch. The turndown service was the cherry on top! They left me a thoughtful birthday note and go our room ready for a us, a nice luxury touch! The shuttle service is so nice to explore just about anything and there are so many amenities we didn't take advantage of like the morning yoga or gym. I cant stop recommending a stay here if you can make it work, its a luxury experience. Throughout our stay we explored the hotel and the different courtyards, restaurants, and the Kohler area and we cant wait to be back!

Disgusting. This was my first stay at a Wyndham hotel, and will be my last…read more Where do I start, at the beginning. I checked in and the front desk person was REALLY nice. Got in the room, and it was awful. Smelled like pets had been sleeping there. Many pets. Like dog crap. The carpet was filthy and stained. But everything else was sold out, so I headed to Meijer and bought $50 worth of febreeze, deoderizers, air fresheners, and towels to lay on the filthy carpet. I spent an hour cleaning and unpacking, and got ready for bed. Then the unattended dog in the room across the hall started barking, and would not stop. This is apparently against hotel policy, but the owners had left it alone, and it would not stop. So they offered to move me to another room. Another 30 minutes of repacking and moving and I arrive in room #2. There is a dehumidifier in the middle of the floor, not running because the tank was full. I emptied the tank and it started running. This room smelled much better because it had an ultra-strong plug in air freshener. Burned your nose it was so strong. So maybe "different" is a better word to use. I unplugged it and threw in in the hall. The bed was fine, but the pillows had weird stains - blood? Good think I brought my own pillows.... The carpet was better, but I still didn't trust it so the towels went back down. The bathroom sink only produced a trickle of water. Shower was fine, but the curtain was mounted so far into the tub that you couldn't actually take a shower with the curtain closed, so I just didn't use it and let the water go everywhere. There were disgusting weird black stains in the toilet. The floor by the sink was always wet, but nothing was leaking. The roof? The walls? That's probably why there was a dehumidifier. Hardly any plugs so I bought extension cords. Breakfast looked OK though I never ate it. The hotel is being "remodeled" and as a result the hallways looked like you were in Beirut. Great location and plenty of parking. Seems to me that the staff is trying hard, but the ownership has let this place go to hell. Any positive review must be left by the hotel itself because there is no way that this place is acceptable unless your previous home is a flophouse. Never again.
