Amazing Vet office that has treated my dogs like family since the first day i have brought them in…read moreas Puppies. The staff here is amazing and have gone above and beyond answering my questions when my one dog was experiencing stomach issues in his youth. This will be the only vet office i every use for my furry family members. Also after reading some of the other reviews i just want to say i have delt with the office manager Lisa many times and not only is she always a pleasure to speak with in my experience she is also extremely knowledgeable and sweet!

I began going to Randall Road Animal Hospital back in 2014 when I got my 7 month old lab, Jake…read more.. I regret every stepping foot into this place and putting my trust in them- I recently found out my dog has chronic pancreatitis after going to Bowes Animal Hospital because Randall Road was either closed since it was a Monday when I needed to bring my pet in or they were booked when I needed them most. I've had bloodwork done on Jake routinely when he became a senior- everytime Randall Road Animal Hospital would call me with the results, they would say his liapse is high, quit feeding him table scraps, tho we don't feed him table scraps.. and failed to do further testing to find out what was REALLY going on-I took him to Bowes Animal Hospital, repeated blood work as his liver enzymes were elevated- Bowes recommended further testing as his liapse was high and so was his liver enzymes, which indicates inflammation somewhere.. well, after five years of elevated blood work at Randall road, he was diagnosed tonight with chronic pancreatitis- Not only did we find out he has pancreatitis- he also has cancer. I was told by Randall Road a lump on his ankle was probably a fatty cyst- further testing was done once again at Bowes after Dr said that's not a fatty cyst- came back as soft tissue sarcoma- removal for this can't be done until pancreatitis is treated if it's able to be treated. Lastly, my dog also suffers from laryngeal paralysis- I took it upon myself to research meds to give him to calm him down as excitement causes laryngeal paralysis to get worse... medication Randall Road recommended for arthritis- liberala, found out after doing my OWN research doesn't interact well with dogs that have laryngeal paralysis, so I recommended he be switched. I am so disappointed and most of all let my pup down... please think twice before choosing this place to be your place to take your babies too- I put my trust into this place and was let down not once but three times and have a pup who suffered from it

I am really surpised with the bad reviews with the vet. 3 years ago our pit mix had been plagued…read morewith ear infections for about 1 year. We had been taking him to Banfield and all they would do is give us a topical ointment to put in his ear. He started having what we thought were seizures and rushed him over to Banfield again and they told us that he needed a brain scan because he might have a tumor and they put him on seizure meds. Well we wanted a second opinion and took him to Dr. D and found out that it was a severe ear infection. He had us take him off the seizure meds and we had a deep ear treatment done were he was sedated and his ears were flushed and he was given an antibiotic deep in his ear. 2 weeks later and we had our guy back to normal. No seizures no more ear infections. Its been 3 years now and we have had no issues with his ears. Dr.D diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly and was reasonably priced. We also have another pit boxer mix that we take there and he gave us some great options for dogs allergys without meds! He also price matched Amazon for joint supplements that we need to give our pit mix due to arthritis. I thought that was awesome! I really like this vet. He is straight and to the point. No bs and needless talk. In and out with healthy and happy doggies!

We have been with this hospital since 2019 and have had a variety of experiences but it all…read morecompletely depends on the vet that you are with. Every single appointment we have had with Dr. Gilham has been truly awful, she does not read our pets history, has misdiagnosed her, claimed she had visible cancer masses then immediately tested her (surprise, they weren't cancerous) and pushed medications that our dog was allergic to that she previously prescribed. However, the appointments we have had with Dr. Stone have been truly incredible. She will get on the floor with your dog and shower them with love and attention and takes all of your concerns into consideration. She is truly amazing and I adore the care she gives to our animals. Dr. Lexi Meverden is newer to us but has been truly amazing as well. I cannot say enough good things about her or Dr. Gilbertson.

Had two 12 MONTH scripts written JUST 3 months ago for my two furry animals for heartworm meds . Went to fill the heartworm medicine and Red Barn DECLINED BOTH simply because ONLY ONE of them was due for heartworm test next month????? Just had them in on Feb. 27th for wellness exams and shots. Brought TWO fecal samples. Why didn't they test then like every other vet? The answer is because this way they could force us in again and their prices have increased. I didn't even realize they weren't done. WHY DID I GET TWO 12 MTH. SCRIPTS FOR INTERCEPTOR if they weren't done??? Who the heck do they think they are canceling BOTH scripts when only one dog is due? Who does that? This office "manager" and front office girls could give a crap about the pets. What were they going to do I was going to bring my one dog in and then they suddenly would give me two prescriptions one for each dog or were they going to force me to bring both in? I wouldn't go back to this place if you paid me in 10 months from April 2023 to February 2024 I spent over $3,800 with them. They should get rid of these women who could give a darn about the pets and get vet techs for the front office like all the other vets do. They're cheaper, less freaking attitude, and they love animals. This so-called office manager didn't comply when I requested the doctor call me and I could think of quite a few different ways she could handle this so much better which would have stayed within the guidelines of Red Barn but most importantly would have kept my pets heartworm medicine!!!!!! FOLLOW UP NOW 5 DAYS LATER I just went on to take screenshots of my 12-month prescriptions and I see that they just issued one month for both dogs without calling me because they saw one of the reviews I left and this way they could write that they do care about the animals. What a joke!!! How the heck was I supposed to know the scripts were even there. They're just trying to cover their butts. Be careful if you go here honestly find a different vet there's so many good ones out there I simply went to them because they were conveniently close which was a big big mistake. The nickel dime you to death. Make sure when you bring in fecal samples they do something with them. Also, just talked to Covetrus and they were told that both of my dogs were due for heartworm testing which is a blatant lie.

Thanks to the lifesaving care of the veterinary team at Bowes Animal Hospital, I still have my girl today. Bowes Animal Hospital was the closest clinic to our home on the night of the attack. It was only minutes before closing when we called ahead, but the team immediately put an emergency action plan in place. When we arrived, Dr. Cassie was waiting outside so they could rush my dog in for surgery without delay. Dr. Sunny, Dr. Singh, Cassie and Aldo, along with the entire team, sprang into action. They did everything possible to give her a chance and even stayed seven hours past closing to ensure she was stable enough to go home. At every appointment, they treated my dog with incredible compassion, patience, and determination. They kept us informed throughout the process, checked in on the days we weren't there, and continued to follow up even months after her accident. These veterinarians are not only exceptional at what they do but also incredible human beings who genuinely care about the animals they treat. I will forever be grateful to Bowes Animal Hospital and the entire team for saving my dog's life and giving me more time with my girl.
