The trio can play flute, fiddle, keyboard, various Celtic-style hand drums, tambourines, and more! * The group asked me what type of musical experience I wanted for the event. We agreed that most of the evening would be traditional background-style music, with a few planned songs that would engage more with the guests. Part of the package that we booked with the Celtic Company were 2 Irish step dancers. The Celtic Company coordinated all of those arrangements (how many dancers, how many dance sequences, etc.) and just let me know the additional cost. The 2 dancers who performed were also amazing - dressed in matching, themed outfits, excellent skills, and wonderful smiles. At the end of the event the dancers posed for photographs with our guests. * The group allowed us to use their microphones for announcements and speeches. The Celtic Trio provided a top tier performance and were just generally a wonderful group to work with. 10/10 would recommend!

We added the live instruments (drums, sax, and bass), and it was one of the best decisions we made -- the energy was incredible! The dance floor was packed all night, and so many of our guests told us it was the most fun they've had at a wedding. Tim and the musicians knew exactly how to keep the party going. If you're looking for a DJ who brings both talent and personality, Hip and Hitched is it!

We added the uplighting services and opt'ed out for additional musicians (more on that below). 2. TD is incredibly professional and experienced. We're picky music producers and needed someone who the same level of touch and technicality. With TD, you don't have to worry! He has the years, experience, and groove for it all! 3. Reliable, communicative, and supportive. He can easily mesh well with your videographers, coordinators, and team to make sure your entire event goes well. We're very satisfied with the outcomes. He even took awesome photos of us and created a highlight on IG for us to watch after our wedding. We loved seeing our special day from a different perspective. CON: 1. We didn't get the additional musicians TD recommended and regret it. I think others should consider it! Having more than 1 entertainer on the dance floor really heightens the energy. Whether it's an Emcee, Drummer, Saxophonist, etc... you need that extra person as a hype man to keep the night going! +1 if they can dance and help others follow along #flashmob #tiktokdance. 2. Have a back-up plan for emergencies. If someone falls and hurts their heads in the middle of an energetic time, you'd want to know what to do to be respectful of that person while ensuring the rest of the party is still going. I recommend you to talk to your DJ, emcee, coordinators, and event team to align on an emergency plan in case it happens! One of our elders fell and had a bloody experience. Recovering from that was quite an experience, but TD and our emcee friend made it happen!

Reconnecting with Jeanne Carere was perfect as she is one of the best flute teachers and performers in Atlanta. She and her staff provided great advice on choosing an instrument and setting up the lessons and buying a book for beginners. Her location is perfect for easy access to taking the lessons. I left very happy that this will be a nice gift for my sister. I plan to return soon to buy some other music and supplies that I need for my instrument.

Jeanne, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable, obviously loves what she is doing, and is continuing the tradition of excellent service started by her family decades ago. As a second generation music store owner myself, one of the things I like to do when I'm traveling is look up small, local music stores and pay them a visit so I can see how they operate. In my short time hanging out at Carere Music, I witnessed Jeanne demonstrate her great knowledge of the music business and deal with all sorts of situations with the utmost professionalism: selling and renting good quality musical instruments to eager students, young and old; taking in musical instruments for repairs; helping people find new owners for their musical instruments by selling them on consignment; teaching flute students of all ages, improving their playing on a daily basis. Jeanne obviously has a passion for teaching! After hearing Jeanne's incredible flute sound and impeccable sense of pitch on the piccolo it's no wonder she's first call for all sorts of high level concerts all over the Southeast. My mother played the flute/piccolo chair in the North Carolina Symphony, so I know a world class player when I hear one. Every flute and piccolo player in the Atlanta area should be taking lessons with Jeanne! Jeanne, her staff, teachers, and repair people are all professional musicians with a great love for music and are deeply engrossed in the local music scene. The repairman really knows his stuff and works so efficiently he has the fastest turnaround time in the area! Everyone was super friendly and giving of their time. One if the sax teachers took his horn out and played a few tunes with me. He was able to tell me where all the jazz jam sessions take place and give insights on what goes on at each one. I will definitely be back to Carere Music any time I'm visiting or traveling through the Atlanta area!
