Desmond Thomas, also known as "DJ Dez," is one of Atlanta's Best DJ services…read more Don't be put off by the name "AAA", its just that Desmond likes to be FIRST in everything he does. He was the first DJ in Atlanta to identify the Cheesy Songs, those which everyone got tired of hearing. His "No Cheese" policy ensures that none of those awful wedding cliche's get played---unless the paying customer asks for them. Imagine attending a wedding reception in the Atlanta area without hearing the Macarena, YMCA, or Chicken Dance......its a wonderful thing to have a DJ and emcee who will follow the bride's and groom's wishes......without doing anything embarrassing or cheesy. DJ Dez is a true professional--- and his company is the wedding Disc Jockey Service that I recommend to my clients who are planning an event in Atlanta, GA or the surrounding metro area.

They recently moved over to the Amsterdam Walk shopping center, so it's really easy and convenient to get in and out (as long as you know that they're located behind the really creepy black door: there's currently no signage). They always have exactly what I need ready and waiting for me, even when I have no idea what I'm looking for (my request is usually something along the lines of "I'm having a party.... with a DJ... help."). The staff is all super nice and the guys are awesome about helping you load stuff in to your car if you need it. If you need studio and equipment rental, these should be your guys.

We thought it was a catering hall, but realized you have to bring your own catering team, etc. I'm not sure if they supply the decor or it's an outside source. The reception area is nice, but it is buffet styled dining in another room. The tables seated enough persons, 10 to a table and there were at least 15 tables and it didn't feel cramped and still enough space on the dance floor.
