I hired Forest Ocean Property Care to provide Landscaping services for my vacation rental property…read morein Cannon Beach. I told Johnathan I wanted regular lawn care in the summer months and in the off-season I would want other things done such as pruning hydrangeas and trimming hedges, etc. I was satisfied with his regular lawn care but in the off-season he continued billing me monthly without doing the work. I think he didn't expect me to go to the house and see that he hadn't done the work. I called Johnathan to ask why the work wasn't being done and to make sure he knew what I wanted done and he said he understood, he just hadn't gotten to it. When I came out to the property two months later the work still hadn't been done while he continued to bill me. When I called to tell him I wouldn't be paying him for unrendered services and I was cancelling his service he was indignant and said that's how business was done (that it was normal to bill monthly without doing any work).

Hard worker, incomplete job. After several emails, a couple of conversations, and 2 site visits…read moredetailing my specifications, Johnathan provided me with a bid for cleaning up my property. At the end of day one (it was only supposed to take 1 day), he left without a word to me and the job unfinished. When I contacted him that evening, he said he'd be back the next day to finish up. After spending a couple more hours on my job, he disappeared without a word, never to return, and with the job still not completed to specifications. That night, he sent me an invoice. When I contacted him about the situation, he said he had underestimated the cost of the job and quit before he lost any more money! Now I have to find someone else to complete the job he was hired for. Hard worker, but bad businessman and communicator.

Moss Busters are great! The folks I had communicated with throughout the process (Keaton and Drew)…read morewere awesome. As a new homeowner, I appreciated their knowledge and help. They were friendly, too! I highly recommend them and I will certainly be giving them my business in the future. I hired them to do roof cleaning, gutter cleaning and moss-prevention treatment. And to me, the price was fair and affordable. Again, I'm a new homeowner and this was the first time I ever had to do this... so even if what I paid was too much (I wouldn't know), I don't care because their stellar customer alone was worth every penny. Thanks, Moss Busters! I'll see you again in September!

When they finished the job, I could see only very tiny moss on my roof, but it was very very small. That's what sold me on them. You get immediate results after the cleaning rather than having to wait on the moss inhibitor powder from kicking months down the road. Having said that their prices were in line with 3 of 4 quotes I had gotten and I was able to call someone on the phone and ask several questions that they did a great job answering. The only issue I had was that they had to come back to my house two more times to get the job done right. The first time they had a miscommunication with my gutters that was stated in my quote but wasn't done, so they came back and did it. I managed to catch them where they weren't that far away. The second time, was because I requested it because they missed washing a gutter and the ends of my gutter on my dormer were not quite clean. I took pics and sent it to them for proof. They did call me back the next day and apologized and had someone come over in the afternoon to clean the missed gutters and double check all gutters. They did clean all the debris quite well, in fact it looked better than when they started. I really appreciated that. Roof looks great, gutters look great and I'm satisfied, however I was told I would get before and after pics and it's been a few days so far and I have not gotten any pics. I would use them again but definitely recommend double checking their work to make sure nothing was missed.
