It took weeks and weeks to find out it was their fault, they sent me copies (complete with mistakes) but never actually submitted the form. I had to write it up again and take care of it myself. Secondly, if you're overweight he tries to upsell you to start dieting using Ideal Protein, via his wife's MLM. These powdered 'meals' are mostly soy based and for me, caused kidney stones requiring surgery. Finally, after the first 3-6 months you'll never hear from them unless you reach out. I've never been contacted in the since I started with them to check my stats, my machine, or even me for that matter. Meanwhile you've been billed for a 5 year maintenance contract. I asked my MD for another referral to be reevaluated. While at the new firm I took out my machine. They saw the Sleepworks Medical sticker and the technician stated this company is well known and they apparently have a reputation in their industry. My suggestion is to avoid this company and their staff.

Though I have been using my CPAP for 8 years now he took the time to go over everything about my machine and how it works as well as giving me great insight and detail about the new machines that are available and how to go about getting approval from my health insurer to get financial assistance in purchasing a new machine. The first step in the process was using a machine I would wear overnight to test if I had apnea. The receptionist Anne made sure that I understood how to use the device. After wearing it for one night, the machine recorded that I stopped breathing at least 30 times an hour! Anne went through all the data with me and booked me an appointment with John Peddle, a sleep disorder expert. He set me up with a trial CPAP machine to help me with my condition. The machine blows pressurized air, usually through the nose to push open your airway. It's actually a lot more comfortable than it sounds and I got used to sleeping with it in a couple of days. John was patient and thorough in his explanation and was very attentive to my concerns. When the unit I eventually purchased was faulty, he replaced it no questions asked. He even brought me in for an appointment at the last minute when I mistakenly thought the machine wasn't working right patiently cleared up my misunderstanding. The best part is that because I bought the machine from them, they didn't charge me for individual appointments! It was all included in the price of the machine. If you find that you are spending most of the night snoring, or wake up feeling tired or you are restless at night, please get tested. The difference in quality of life is like night and day. When you ask your doctor for a referral, be sure to ask for the Abbotsford branch of Coastal Sleep, and more specifically John Peddle. You won't be disappointed!

It is $6 per hour entrance is by the rear,the other one is metered street parking and its another rip-off...bus or train the best.... The staffs I've met so far had been professional and very helpful with my needs. After a few tastings, it turns out that I have a severe sleep apnea and is required to sleep with a CPAP machine, and recently after doing a sleep study at UBC hospital, this clinic had set up to a separate oxygen machine to the CPAP machine. At first, it was kind of alarming, but shortly after using it, the was actually really easy to use, seeing as the devices are very non evasive. The result so far is that I do actually feel a bit better physically, and my pulse/heart rate and blood pressure seems to be improving since I started using these machines back in the middle or end of April. I'm still going to be meeting with them for a while, but so far tho, I've been happy with the current results.

(isame product cost $32 online btw) On an earlier occasion, hounded me for months and sent me to collections for a discharged bill even after a court ordered them to stop billing me. Billing department feels like they get to make whatever rules they want.

I appreciate Dr. Zachary Webb, who diagnosed my sleep apnea and explained why I have it (large…read moretongue and small jaw). HOWEVER, after a while, I was given a yearly appt. with doctors I did not know, as Dr. Webb mostly reads sleep studies, I take it. One of these appointments resulted in a female doctor sending the billing code for obstructive sleep apnea AND "psychological insomnia," as I, a chit-chatter, had talked about a period of time when I had insomnia. I WAS NOT there for her to diagnose me; it was a check-in appointment. Long story short, my insurer (Premera) left the Medicare market in WA where I live in 2025. This bill apparently got sent off long after my service (OCT '23, and it was now JAN 25.) North Star, in the meantime, had sent me to collections for a bill I had never been sent, because they kept sending it back with a "wrong code" (a counseling code needed for the "psychiatric insomnia" which I didn't even have anymore). Ii BEGGED Nort Star to rebill it without the error and a nice woman in billing did. (Mind you, this is after months of trying to figure out 1. Why they sent me to collections without as much as calling me and 2. Why it was getting rejected repeatedly. Well, finally I have a piece of paper saying I owe nothing and that Premera won't pay them because they waited too long (to send a proper request without the offending code). I need service providers who will actually mail, call or text about such a thing, not send me to an easy coast collection company (a sign that Dr. Webb is NOT from the PNW?). The staff were not knowledgeable during all of the early calls I made (I wrote to them too). Only one person in the billing department stepped up to help me and it was too late by then for them to get paid. I will never go there again. Thanks for giving me the chance to complain.
