Beware of this company. I needed a new roof and hired them because of their ad in the Yellow Pages. The crew that showed up to do the job had license plates from Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. They worked both days into the dark, and I do mean dark. I had to tell them to stop and get off the roof when it so dark you couldn't possibly do a proper job. When I explained this to Wayne, I was told they could see in the dark. Who knew that the crew he had hired off the street had this special ability to see what they were doing on a roof 45 minutes after the sun went down in the winter. When Wayne came to get paid, I asked him to walk around the house and inspect his crew's work. I had concerns based on the extremely poor job they did of cleaning up (I have a sandwich bag full of nails I picked up in my driveway) and felt there may have been more short-cuts taken. He walked around the house with me but refused to look up at the roof. I was told it had already been inspected while his crew was here. That was not true. Nobody accept the crew was here throughout the job. Two small sections of the roof were not completed before the clean up and removal of the trailer from my driveway. One of the crew came back a few days later at 5:00 P.M. to complete those sections. They had left shingles but no underlayment. So he put the shingles on bare wood. When I told Wayne what he had done, I was told he would not have done that. I then explained I had pictures of it being done, as well as pictures of the entire project, from start to finish. Wayne then stated that long ago underlayment wasn't even used. I explained that this is not long ago and I wanted the two sections done properly. I was told it would be taken care of, that never happened. The first time it rained after my new roof went on the house, it leaked. I had major stains on sections of the master bedroom, master bath, and master closet. These stains should never have occurred but because Wayne refused to look at the roof he never got the opportunity to see that the rubber boot for one of the vents had never been installed. I went into the attic and the vent pipe had been pulled out when the old boot had been removed and the water went down the pipe in one direction and the water entered through the gaps around the pipe. I informed them the next day of the major problem I was having due to their negligence and it took them more than two weeks to send someone back to install the boot. While I was in the attic I discovered they had repaired a rotted section of plywood that isn't even close to being a proper fit. Plus there is more plywood around this section that should have been replaced but wasn't. I guess they thought I would never go into this section of the attic to study their work, they were wrong. The plywood was replaced during daylight hours and then covered over with underlayment. The crew also broke both railing on the stairs going into my home while removing the old shingles. They also did quite a number on sections of the gutters. Wayne was informed of this when he came for payment and he told me they were going to send somebody out to fix it, no one has ever come back. I have pictures of everything. I have had to take money out of my pocket to pay for what they broke and to have textured and painted the ceilings where the water came in to my home.
