The garden and suites are all beautifully arranged on the property, the garden had a beautiful layout, the pool and jacuzzi were amazing (seriously amazing), and our dog had just as much fun as we did. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The suite was clean, the TV had an HDMI cable that we were able to hook our computer up to to watch Netflix, the bed was very comfy and clean, and bathroom was very clean, and the overall space was exactly what we were looking for. There are enough parking spots for all of the guests, and all of the guests were very low-key and pleasant to be around. Although all of the suites were rented out we actually barely ran into everyone and it felt as if we had the entire area to ourselves. I think one of the biggest perks on top of all these amenities is that our dog was allowed to enjoy the place just as much as we were. We are looking forward to another reason to take a trip up to Santa Barbara/Montecito area so we can stay here again! I would definitely recommend this place.

I had made a reservation over three months in advance for our family to stay at her Carpinteria Beach house for the 4th of July weekend. Unexpectedly, our reservation was canceled with less than a week before we were to check in. No explanation provided by Danielle. My wife and kids were devastated. She gave us a refund, which was the least she could do, but nevertheless, we were in a scramble to find an alternative place to stay on a busy holiday weekend, with increased prices and little to no options. But the worst part of this whole mess, is when we went onto Vrbo to find another place to stay, what do we find? Danielle's listing, available for rent on the days we had previously booked. This is extremely unethical. We trust hosts on Air BnB to be transparent and reliable when we give them our business and I can't help but feel taken advantage of.

Miraculously, at the end of my stay, they found a way to charge me almost exactly the amount of my security deposit through extra bogus charges. I'm opening up claims against them and hoping they can't pray on more people.

The views from the condos are the best in Santa Barbara and they are within walking distance to the wharf where there are numerous restaurants from which to chose. The harbor is also within walking distance and it has restaurants and a fresh fish market. After selecting the fish, barbecuing the fish on the top deck of the condos offers stunning views of the coastline. It is a great place to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the view and company of other people who are staying at Seacliff. There are also yoga classes offered weekly. Seacliff is now opening the viewing deck for small weddings. Seacliff is one of a kind in Santa Barbara and the management is on site and responds immediately to any issue you might have-small or large.

Well, it was terrible and two days in I called Carp Shores and they said "Come on over. We have a condo for you!" Can't wait to be back this summer! We choose to avoid all hotels during COVID and needed a pet friendly accommodation. Melinda informed me only the lower units were available for small pets, we took the San Nicolas. Even though I would've preferred an ocean view deck, the truth is the ocean is only one block away. The modest interior decor, fully equipped kitchen, patio views and spacious rooms created just the right vacation/residential experience we had hoped for. I imagine the fact that the Villa Elegante only caters to weekly and monthly contributes greatly to the good condition of the furnishings. The overall cleanliness more than met our expectations. It's a little strange to me more reviews aren't posted for this company since we found all aspects of our experience were very positive. Maybe the Canadians are not big Yelpers? The location was just a block from the beach and close to a few necessities and even lovely restaurants. The place we rented was the "Santa Rosa" and it was spacious, so clean, great accommodations. Everything was well updated and kept up. We loved the 2 car private garage. Helped with moving my daughter out of her apartment! I do wish they had a pool, but again the beach was just a block or two away. We loved staying at Villa Elegante and definitely plan to stay here again! Thank you Melinda!

My room was a little small but I was traveling alone and not doing much work in the room. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. It was a little tight for my evening yoga (had to move a chair and still be mindful of my space as I was tapping the door and a wall with my big wingspan) but no big deal. I sat outside and read later in the evening after I returned from a long stroll for dinner, drinks and some exploration of the area to the south called the "funk zone" which has some great local businesses - well worth the time to do an evening beer crawl or something through there.

We are taking our time looking for a home, as we are separately very happy where we are and do not want to move until we find the perfect place that is mutually beneficial to our family and landlords. We do not want to move again for at least 5 years after we find a home so are looking for a longterm rental. Jen Gough replied that our family sounds like a great fit, and asked me to call her to set up an appointment to view the property. I called her and she had no idea who I was or what property I was talking about, told me that she runs a "very large business" with 9 properties. When I described the house in more detail she told me they have short term tenants for the next week and I will need to call back some other time. I asked her when I should call back, and she huffed -- extremely frustrated to be engaging in this conversation -- and asked how long we planned to stay. I reminded her of our email exchange hoping that would cue her to who I was and what we are about, which didn't happen, and then told her we are looking for a rental of 5 or more years. She exclaimed, "That's way too long! We aren't interested. Thanks." And hung up. If you plan to give Jen a call, make sure you are equipped to speak to the most important person alive.

Jen was unbelievably unprofessional---they made us pay HALF of the cost in cash for "tax reasons" (yeah right). I don't think Voldemort, Frank Underwood, and Satan combined could get away with what these people pulled. They kept our initial $2,400 deposit after changing and nullifying the initial contract (getting a lawyer on this) and they made it such a pain in the neck to try and get a hold of them whenever we needed them, but surprisingly they gave us the $5,400.00 back within a day via PayPal after cancelling our reservation just days before our retreat this Friday. Honestly, if you're looking for a place with the same view of the ocean with similar service, go to Guantanamo.
