I take duet sessions with my friend and it works out very well for us. Catherine teaches out of her house, where she has a fully equipped studio, complete with reformers and other tables with attachments the names of which I do not even know. I like that she continuously strives to get the best equipment. Just recently she obtain two new wunda chairs. Many studios use know-offs but she invests into the real deal. Although I recently stopped going due to a conflicts in my schedule (I have young kids), Catherine definitely makes an effort to accommodate different times throughout the week. Her rates are also very reasonable compared to other one on one Pilates studios. Most importantly, she is extremely well trained and has been dong this for a long long time. She is very professional in her expertise. Definitely worth giving this a try!

Sunrise yoga on the beach with Salty Dog yogi, Caroline, was truly a beautiful experience and a…read moregreat way to start the day. Getting up super early was definitely worth it. The class begins at 7am at the Tennessee Beach Access and lasts 1 hour. Caroline was warm, welcoming and made the practice good for all levels. She focused on our breath, gentle poses and our beautiful surroundings. Overlooking the sun rising over the ocean was so peaceful and rejuvenating as the waves crash on the beach. Also, it was cool to have the sand move under your towel. It actually cradled your body and hands in poses that was really great. Some of the flow movements were trickier with the sand but doable. I wished I had done this class earlier in the summer as they will not offer it during the colder months. I'll be checking out their other classes!
