They never returned my phone calls regarding a simple request. All I wanted was them to send my eye examination receipt number over to Motor Vehicle so I could renew my driver's license on-line. Being in my 70's and handicapped, I was hoping to avoid a crowded, noisy facility. As far as I'm concerned, the staff could care less about the customer once I left. From the reviews that I have read, I'm not the only one that feels this way. I wonder if the Dr. ever reads these comments, if not she should.

I have nothing good to report about my experiences with the company, and I would urge you research alternatives.

The Mr. Dr. Did not introduce himself which I found awful. When I walked in the girls were carrying on and one was trying to hang up on someone she said she loved them so a personal call. Never welcomed me or said goodbye. A week later an eye situation came up that I knew I needed to see an Opthalmologist and I asked Coastal if they recommended one. The gal said I had to come in because I needed a referral. I knew it wasn't right but I visited and the man Doc had no idea where to send me. He was muddling around on the computer and I saw one that was accepting new patients. I was leaving and the girls told me I owed them $38, for what????? No one touched me was except to puff my eyes and I told her I had just had all that a week ago with them. She immediately seemed alarmed when she seated me. None of them knew why I was there. I absolutely denied to pay them. They did nothing!!! My husband went there the other day. He waited 20 minutes for them to call him. He was puffed and put in a room. Then a girl came in and told him the doctor would not see him until he paid my $38. He said that's between you and her. She said leave and he did! Both of us disgraced and duped. Wasted both of our time. They must be pretty hard up to muscle $38 out of either of us. They will never see our insurance again. I'm filing complaints with the state and our insurance company.

Makes me laugh, because normally if a patient is running late, they get penalized in some way. Dont know if that is the case here. But the clientele... I get it, the older we get, more things go wrong with our bodies, eyes being one of them. So not to complain the clientele is old, but rather they complain. Many times sitting here, the patients make mention of the number of people in the waiting room. Many are with others. Sons and daughters bringing their parent. Spouses bringing their partner. This isn't taken into consideration when making those comments. You dont like that there are two dozen people sitting? Figure that half are just accompanying somebody. You yourself came in with somebody.
