The doctor who saw me explained all the tests, checked all the important stuff, made recommendations and got me to the next step. I sat with the Frame and Lens person who showed me all of my options, what my insurance would cover and what I was responsible for. I paid my bill. Received a call my glasses were ready. I went in (No appointment needed to pick up the finished product) checked them out, received an itemized bill and left as happy as could be. The Mr. Dr. Did not introduce himself which I found awful. When I walked in the girls were carrying on and one was trying to hang up on someone she said she loved them so a personal call. Never welcomed me or said goodbye. A week later an eye situation came up that I knew I needed to see an Opthalmologist and I asked Coastal if they recommended one. The gal said I had to come in because I needed a referral. I knew it wasn't right but I visited and the man Doc had no idea where to send me. He was muddling around on the computer and I saw one that was accepting new patients. I was leaving and the girls told me I owed them $38, for what????? No one touched me was except to puff my eyes and I told her I had just had all that a week ago with them. She immediately seemed alarmed when she seated me. None of them knew why I was there. I absolutely denied to pay them. They did nothing!!! My husband went there the other day. He waited 20 minutes for them to call him. He was puffed and put in a room. Then a girl came in and told him the doctor would not see him until he paid my $38. He said that's between you and her. She said leave and he did! Both of us disgraced and duped. Wasted both of our time. They must be pretty hard up to muscle $38 out of either of us. They will never see our insurance again. I'm filing complaints with the state and our insurance company.
