Wow, wish I found them years ago. Contacted my insurance, found local providers, made the appointment and arrived. Great staff, friendly and caring, didn't have to wait long. The doctor who saw me explained all the tests, checked all the important stuff, made recommendations and got me to the next step. I sat with the Frame and Lens person who showed me all of my options, what my insurance would cover and what I was responsible for. I paid my bill. Received a call my glasses were ready. I went in (No appointment needed to pick up the finished product) checked them out, received an itemized bill and left as happy as could be. The glasses and lenses are fantastic, they just FIT (not sure how to explain it but they are perfect). Thank you so much, see you next August for my yearly exam. Keep up the great work! read more

Should not close for 1 hour 12 to 1pm. Most businesses do not do that. Drove over here and then had to wait for 1 hour for them to reopen. Does not make for happy customers. read more

Avoid. In my experiene they sell substadard product and when it fails to perform for the purpose sold they blame the consumer. Speciicall the lense surface started to deteriorate apparetnly ithout cause and they said "not our problem". read more

Traveling through the area a few weeks ago and had an eye glasses malfunction that I could not repair myself. Stopped to see these wonderful people. They fixed the problem, didn't charge me and even gave me some cleaning solution. You folks are awesome! Thank you so very much. read more

Had an appointment at 3:30. Arrived early as usual. We sat in waiting room until 4:00. Someone came and took me in back . Assumed it was eye doctor. After a brief exam I was told to wait. Finally at 4:15 we checked with desk. They said they we're waiting for a room(?). Finally was taken to a room to see doctor for exam at 4:30. Waited 15 minutes got ready to leave and one of the techs told us Dr was finishing up with patient . She finally came in at. 5:00 when we discussed our concerns she replied that we were not sitting there the whole time as a tech came in. She said if we felt we needed to leave then go ahead. Main issue is a one and half hours and is that normal for an eye exam. And not one person in the office told us that it may take awhile to see Doctor. The term "well oiled machine" fits, but so does cattle call. The waiting room is always crowded, the staff is always working at a sprint, the phones are always busy, no one is available for more than a few seconds to address questions or concerns. The experience is very impersonal. Everyone is herded in and out quickly as possible - with a smile. The Dr.s and their nurses are certainly knowledgeable, but the staff seem overwhelmed. I've had a problem in finalizing my contact prescription that has taken weeks because I literally need to chase someone down each time for adjustments and samples. read more

Never answer numerous calls no follow up after exam for getting my prescription and contacts bad initial prescription had to go back twice for them to get it right also very expensive compared to previous eye care center had to go here because they accept my new insurance very displeased read more

This is a great and thorough optical practice. The exam is a modern use of updated equipment and knowledgeable professionals from greeting to salutations. Each visit has an experienced staff member to check and record test results. The Optometrist is delightful and well educated to listen to the patient, evaluate the needs and the tests to create a positive experience and proper vision plan. I've been given wonderful attention for my vision needs and the practice is very open to trying options. The products that are sold in the practice from glasses, contacts and supplies are top quality. Insurance is filed properly and payment for the visit is explained and painless. Well first of all this place is a joke. Reason 1. Rude staff. They blow you off. Took my mom here. She's 91. First visit we waited an hour and a half. I had to say something to the front desk girls. Finally got her in and the doctor was bee bopping around and we sat in the room for another half hour. I again had to ask what the problem is. I was told the Dr didn't know we were in the room. 2. Second visit they kissed our butt and apologized for the previous visit. 3. Third visit today. I take my elderly mom in and they called her name 23 mins after our appointment. I got up to wheel her in the room and was rudely told to sit and wait for her. I had ask where she was taking her. I was in middle of complaining when I was told I could come in with her. Small note..... mom doesn't like being alone with strangers. Anyway. We needed her glasses tightened too so they took them to the optical section and tightened. She wasn't even there for that. So I had to take her over to the section to have them re tightened. No one wears name tags here so they can't get in trouble. This place sucks. Don't go here. read more

Dr. Webb and staff are very nice and professional. The only complaint I have is that they overbook/overlap appointments so be aware that the wait is long to see the dr. The first 2 times I went for my annual I was there for over 2 hours. The last time I had an appt. at 2:00 (right when they return from their lunch hour), there were 3 of us waiting for the doors to open and while chatting we discovered that all 3 of us had a 2 pm appt w/Dr. Webb. I thought this would be an easy in/out but nope... they squeezed in several other patients and I sat waiting again in the waiting room for 45 minutes and then in an exam room for over 1.5 hours. Plan to wait to be seen. Better yet, bring a good book. read more

Ridiculous!! Shockingly overpriced and slightly rude staff! After spending $485 for my son's and my eye exam, we received no prescription for glasses and they wanted to charge my son $40 to learn how to use and put in contacts. After my experience, and others I spoke with as well, this business is not well respected and if continues like this, never will be. read more

Very rude ladies in the optical store. It is an effort for them to take care of you. They don't smile and are not pleasant at all. The lady that does the measuring and fitting of your glasses acts like she is doing you a favor by helping you. Dr. Moshoures should know how unprofessional they are. read more

I tried to make a an eye appointment with them. Lady on the phone took my vision insurance plan information and my personal information. All went well until she started demanding my health insurance information. I did not have my card with me at the time of call so I offered to bring it in with me when I come for appointment. She said no, cant do, can not make appointment without your health insurance information. I suggested another solution - put me down as no health insurance as cash pay. She went to consult someone and came back with: I can put you on schedule but appointment will be cancelled if you don't provide us with your health insurance information...... I was done at that. There is so much wrong with this situation that would not know were to begin!!!!! She said they bill certain things to health insurance - "like pictures and stuff".. I never heard such a thing in my life!!! Called different eye care provider and all they needed in order to make an appointment was my information and name of vision insurance. I would not suggest anyone this place just by their conversational and logic skills. read more

Dr Webb & office staff could not have been any better. I was worked in for an eye issue immediately & was well pleased with their service. The office is well organized & staff is friendly & professional. I think the bad reviews should be taken as a bad day for that person as my interaction with them was wonderful. Vision Square Eye Care works like a "well-oiled machine; that is, if you want someone to take your hard-earned $$$$ and deliver consistently poor, poor customer service at the same time. That said, if you ever plan to use that eye care provider, do not (under any circumstance) book an appointment at their Calabash location. That front desk staff is the absolute worse I have ever, ever seen----and I'm almost 71 years old. On the other hand, if you are a glutton for punishment and abuse in the form of rudeness, loudness, coldness, carelessness in remembering basic information about their customers, or otherwise just plain old callousness, by all means travel over there and get your "fill" of it. Just remember, a word to the wise should be sufficient----you will live to regret the experience. read more

Utilizing the services provided by Dr. Webb, who is above reproach in every way possible, I'd highly recommend Vision Square and Dr. Webb to anyone seeking eye-care. From simple eye tests to other exams, you couldn't ask for a more professional group of individuals. Which, by-the-way includes their staff.
