Ridiculous. Let's start with the call center. No one has a clue they have 1 job and apparently no one has been trained. I went from an ENT visit in Palm Coast which turned into Ormond Beach 3 hours B4 appt. So my 40 minute ride went to 90 1 way. Call center appt with ENT and get hearing test. Became a CONCILIATION for hearing aids. Audiologist doesn't understand English or how to use her printer. Come back to see ENT. It will be a cold day in hell that I let anyone there come near my hears. Oh and I tried to leave this on there site. But, there site only excepts 5 stars. First of all at the reception desk I felt like I was visiting someone in prison. When entering the office you are greeted by a frosted non see thru glass window. I had to knock on it to be waited on. No greeting only was asked name and handed me a computerized board to enter information with out explaining how the computer board worked. I had to ask the receptionist how it works and she clearly was annoyed and treated me like a number. My visit with Dr Tucker was not any better no bedside manners again just felt like a number and rushed by a very sarcastic Dr when questions were asked. I do not recommend this business or Dr Tuckr and will never return or recommend. Just horrible! read more

I not sure it matters to the doctors, but I am cancelling my third visit and have yet to see an actual doctor. The PA is friendly, but my condition is no better than when I started and yet she wants me to continue a medication ( which would have worked by now if it was going to) and clearly states not to take it for a longer period of time than recommended on label. I am going on months of taking longer than the maker recommends - again to no avail. I am going somewhere else to find a real doctor. I met with a physician that would not allow me to speak ,extremely arrogant with a physician complex. He would not allow me to explain medical issues regarding latex allergy. As a medical professional I have worked with this type of a physician in the 70's that had no patience or wish to listen to the patient. I thought those dinosaurs were long gone. read more

They do not take self pay ...don't waste ur time going through the sign up process and from what I could find there's only 2 ents in the area that will meaning if you got an emergency your best bet is to get to the Shands er in Gainesville who has a ENT on staff (long wait and long drive but worth it ) the hospitals in this county also do not have ent on staff one doesn't even have one on call and the other hospital does but isn't likely to call them so coastal ent is actually a majority of the options locally other closest ents are in Jacksonville read more

How lucky am I to have had Dr Munier rescue me not once but twice. Almost 15 years ago he was the only specialist to keep probing until he found a small acoustic neuroma that was affecting my hearing. Because it was still in its early stages I was a perfect candidate for gamma knife procedure, a radical new procedure. Recently I started having trouble with my opposite ear and once again he listened to my concerns and is working to cure it after others failed. I highly recommend Dr Munier and his staff who were all very knowledgeable and helpful. read more

Nowhere on their website do they say they only will take you if you have insurance. So I went through the process of calling to schedule, which they say to do on their website, only to be prompted on the phone to email them to schedule, which I did. They told me they couldn't see me for at least another month and asked me for all my information, which I sent, and I received a 1 sentence reply: "Unfortunately, we do not see self pay patients." Because poor people don't deserve healthcare, I guess. Even if they're willing to pay. Maybe at least add a referral to another practice? If you don't wanna treat me, fine, but I found this entire experience to be incredibly cold. The lesson is clear: they do NOT care about your well-being. They are not passionate about making people feel better. They care about money. I'll be heading right over to a different ENT when I do have insurance. I was changing insurance providers, and called them on the appointment day to cancel, because I was informed that they don't accept Humana, and so I would never get a follow up appointment with a different provider. At NO time, did the person at the appointment desk tell me there was going to be a $50 charge for not cancelling at least 24 hours before your appointment. if so, I would have just made it to my appointment to save $50. But now they will not waive the fee, even though they will NEVER see a payment, for zero services rendered. So I get a bill every month that I have no intention of paying. If they screw with my credit report, I will sue them for harassment and damages. I went to a different specialist, covered by Humana, and the doctor actually had me get a cat scan before I came, and prescribed things I needed, that the quack at Coastal never even mentioned. read more

Both I and my son have been to this location for issues. Both of us have received excellent care from the very beginning. The phone person making appointments was able to get us in within a reasonable time for a specialist. Dr. Mirante saw us on our individual appointments and explained what was being done and the procedures were quick and easy. Great place and the only ENT I will go to. Barry N review I find interesting since $250 for a sterile fiber optic nasolaryngoscope is cheep. Used the restroom before being called back for appointment. It was filthy. Faucet on sink not even attached so no water. Floor dirty. Told person taking me in for appointment ( no temperature check) she said she was not aware. Hard to believe since the handle for the faucet was laying on the sink and was filthy. Obviously not being cleaned. Offered me some hand sanitizer if I wanted it. Dr entered details I to portal. First item concerned my ears. He never spoke about and and definitely did not give me printed literature which he stated he did. Quick to blame allergy season for everything. **Beware, they will double bill you for NOTHING!!** So I went in for ear pain, pressure and ringing in my ears. I was apparently scheduled with "two different specialists" and wasn't informed that, I just assumed that one person gave me a hearing test and then sent me in to see the ENT. So because of this so called "scheduled with two different specialists", I received a bill for a second co-pay even though I paid my co-pay when I was there. Dont even try to call and speak with them about it, because the receptionist will just talk down to you like you should know that going in, even though I have never ever been charged twice for one office visit (even seeing two people!!)) The worst part is they tested my hearing and then the ENT didnt even look in my ears! He just said that it might take time for the "fluid in my ears", which he had just told me that the tests showed there was no fluid in them, to go away. You know, the test the "other specialist" did. Be aware of over billing! Customer Service is the worst and they bill for procedures that weren't done. Never received a bill from them for the EXTRAs, , what ever they were for, and received a collection notice. My credit score was 838 now it's 803 because of this fraud. I came in for my visit yesterday on time for my 1:00 p.m appointment. The sign on the walk-in slide window says " Don't bang on the glass we can see you ".So I thought they had a camera & they could see me. I've been here once before and the glass was open.Being that it was closed this time I sat and patiently waited. No one came out to me or said anything.I figured maybe there on there lunch break...How would I know I don't work there !? No one even checked at all to see if somone might be out there within the 18 minutes.She sat behind the glass the whole time.There was no one really coming in so I stood behind a lady that was returning the sign in tablet.When I got up to Jenny I told her I've been here since 1:00. She proceeded to rudely tell me I just walked in.Then she tried to explain why they keep it closed which made no sense at all.I sat there 18 minutes with no assistance.She then started to argue with me & then say "I'm not going to argue with you".No accountability whatsoever.The window should be left opened it's necessary.She doesn't need to be sitting in the front if she doesn't want to be there.She triggered my anxiety all because she couldn't do her job correctly.She sits in the front to check patients in & take co-pays but she barely could do just that. I was also told this isn't the first time she's behaved like this.She shouldn't be representing your establishment with her attitude.The Audiologist & Dr.Mirante was very apologetic.He told me he'll let the manager know about this incident. My overall visit was made better by the doctor & audiologist so thank you for that.Word of advice to the Ormond Beach location fire Jenny & let her get a job more suitable for her somewhere in the back. read more

Dr. Clark seemed to be a good doctor. Billing practices are beyond questionable. Be sure when they say your insurance company authorized procedures that the FULL procedures were submitted to the insurance company and truthfully approved in writing from your insurance company. Follow up appointments to surgery are billed as surgery instead of office visit and they'll be happy to tell you it's legal. Any monies paid up front to cover surgery costs become a golden pot of money for them to charge anything against and not ever report to you properly. When you ask for your balance, they will not answer you. You have to request it in writing. In 8-9 months, you will get another bill as large or larger than the one they stated would cover your procedures and ask for you to pay the bill, in essence, double the amount you were quoted. Have an attorney on retainer, you'll need one. read more

Horrible office. Made appt one week earlier. When I showed up 15 minutes prior to appt time was told I had no appt, yet all my information was in computer. Since I was s new patient seems odd they would have my info in the computer if I hadn't set up an appt. Front girls were rude and inconsiderate. Asked for office manager number and left s message. Although the doctor was good, the billing for services is unethical. Basic exams are considered surgical procedures, including follow-up appointments. Be aware of how much you will be charged before you allow it. I had a $300 bill for a five minute follow-up appointment. If your insurance is covering you, be aware that they are being billed that much each time you see this doctor as well, which is why everyone's rates go up. read more

Dr. Dillon couldn't figure out why I had a lump in my throat after 2 visits and a CT scan. Started giving out bs could be this could be that. Every visit would cost $140 + shoving a camera down my nose each visit that costs $250 finding nothing. After spending $1000+ with my CT scan that they wanted Im going to find another doctor before I spend more here. read more

Be very careful of this office they come across as being nice compassionate doctors and although they are it's all about money and I guess they think maybe their clientele are mostly seniors who don't know better or have good insurance that will pay but that's irrelevant or should be. I went there and had a doctor put a little lighted instrument up my nose and they called it a scope and then it was considered surgical ..sure my insurance company pays but also our insurance premium goes up every year because of these outrageous bills they're receiving from doctors and hospitals. But this organization is very canny ..they take a little wax out of your ear and it's considered surgical they put a little light up your nose and considerate it surgical so they can bill your insurance..or you if you're not fully insured. I saw one of the doctors in Palm Coast she spent seven minutes with me and told me for a follow up they're going to talk about maybe putting tubes in my ears I'm in my 7Os so I doubt that I'm going to go for tubes in my ear but again it's all about what they can do to make money. read more

Office staff was pleasant. Dr Dillon was a terrible. I have never encountered such a terrible office visit. Dr. Dillon was cold. She never introduced herself to me. I had never been to an ENT before. Dr. Dillon took me 40 minutes late and didn't apologize. She didn't ask me any of my symptoms. She just shoved something up my nose and said she didn't see anything. She said I needed to get a cat scan and if nothing was found I would need an MRI of my brain. Dr Dillon only spent 3 minutes with me. She didn't seem interested in talking with me or taking anytime with me. She seemed rushed. I was not given the appropriate amount of time and then stuck with a huge bill. Not sure why Dr Dillon is a doctor is she doesn't want to take time with patients. I got a 2nd opinion from a excellent ENT doctor and he took me on time and spent much more time with me He had a great protocol of treatment and I got better and didn't need a Cat scan or MRI. When I tried to talk with someone at the office about the bill I was dismissed and said they spoke with the Dr Dillon and she told them to tell me she gave me a full exam and the bill stands. No one would call me to discuss. Don't waste your time on this office. Move on to someone else. I was communicating through their patient portal and I asked to talk with someone. They eventually just ignored me. Such an awful experience. read more

You can't reach them by phone because they either don't answer it or they switch their phone system to after-hours phone service during normal posted business hours. I tried for over a week to reach them during normal business hours. Left messages requesting call back. No one ever called me back. The ENT physician's office will not pickup the phone. The instructions, if you don't know the extension, says press 0. Numerous times I have tried that and after 30 + seconds, the recording says "your call cannot be completed" and throws you right back to the original recording. These calls I have placed are during their open office times. I have never been to the office although I have an appointment. Since this is the way I can expect to be treated once I am a patient, I want to cancel my appointment. However, I cannot get to anyone in order to do so. read more
