Simple but elegant and several folks at the table said it was the best chocolate cake they have ever eaten (and some of them are real sweet experts so that's saying something). I found this place and tried to make a reservation. It did take awhile to get through, I think they answered when I called like 10 or 11:00 on a Monday morning. I was happy I got a decent time though, I asked for 7:30 and they gave me 8:00. Once we got to AC I found out they had fireworks at 9:00. So I was like I don't know what to do. So I tried calling every 5 minutes trying to get through to see if i could get an earlier reservation, even if we have to eat at like 4:30. I couldn't ready anyone though. So we were plotting what we were going to do, maybe tell them we wanted to eat fast, get our food to go? I was going to run out the back and try to catch them. I said let's just go to the restaurant earlier and try to get a table. We explained when we got there and they were packed , but they were very accommodating and gave us a table right by the window. I was happy that now we could relax and enjoy our meal and get drinks and an appetizer. We got the meatball appetizer because my husband always likes to get that. It was very good , prob one of the best meatballs I have ever had. I got the seafood pasta which was delicious. great flavor , the seafood was cooked perfectly, and a generous amount too. I was stuffed but ate everything. my husband got the veal rollatini which he really enjoyed also. The cocktails were great as well. We got dessert Togo because we were stuffed but really wanted it. The chocolate chip cheesecake was delicious. I think we got the tiramisu too which was ok but a little watery.
