We understood that there have been material shortages, so we were patient. The installation was completed in one day. My husband asked the installers about how they would work around the sprinklers in the irrigation system. He was told "not to worry"...that if they hit one they would repair it. Unfortunately, they did hit one but we did not discover this until a few days later. My husband contacted Bayview and was told that since it was not noted on the day of the installation that it was our responsibility and they would not send anyone out to repair it...that we should call a plumber. Granted...it should have been checked prior to the installers leaving, however it was inadvertent and they should have asked us to check the system that day. This is very poor customer service and while we would have recommended Bayview to friends and neighbors based on the quality of the work, we definitely will not being doing so now.

His calculations were off, so I had to make multiple trips to the hardware store. He took about 3x as long as anticipated and left a mess of concrete all over (only about 2/3 actually made it into the post holes). Despite his inability to stay on schedule, he was almost half the price of Lowes, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I had two other projects: leaking roof and bathroom remodel. THIS IS WHERE HE SCREWS ME. Freddy said it would be no problem and that he's done dozens of these. Again, he was going to charge a lot less than major stores and contractors so I signed with Freddy. He didn't touch my roof for over a month and when he was done, IT WAS WORSE than before! I had to get a real roofing contractor (AJ Roofing Pros) to fix it (I ended up replacing the whole roof). The worst part is the bathroom: he said he could have it done on 5 days. That was 4 months ago! He left it completely tore down and rarely answers my calls/texts, only to say " yeah, I'llbe there in a few days" and then doesn't show. I would give him 3 stars on the fence, despite the mess he made, the sagging gate and timeline. But for the roof, the bathroom remodel, and Fred Hunt as a person and business man, I give him a ZERO.
