Four weeks ago today I walked into Coastal Chiropractic in the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life. The day before I had an MRI that revealed bulging discs on my L3,4 and 5 and a cyst on the right side of my L5. The pressure from the bulging was pressing on my sciatica which caused agonizing pain. I couldn't stand or walk more than 3-5 mins without dropping to my knees. I grew up playing all sports, riding bulls in rodeo's, teaching defensive tactics at the police department and even traveled to several states on the east coast teaching M.A.C.H (Mechanical Advantage Control Holds). My body has been tore up over the years and my whole life came to a screeching halt when I injured my back removing fencing. Now, I would like to address how amazing Coastal Chiropractic is. After a consultation with Dr. Beth we came to an agreement that I needed a 3 month plan that required me to attend treatment 3 days a week. The entire team at CC is so positive, uplifting and that alone has kept me motivated towards my commitment. I recently completed phase 1 of my treatment and I've made huge progress. I can now walk, stand and even drive my vehicle for an extended period of time. My first appointment has already made a huge difference! It was just a consultation but they did an amazing job. The moment I stepped in I felt like I was at a spa so pretty and the receptionist is super sweet. My consultation with the doctor she talked to me one on one for awhile about me like my lifestyle and history to paint a picture of who I really am! Then she layed me down to feel my spine. She asked me if I had issues with 3 different areas of my body that I did have issues with...woman issues, stomach issues and heart. It was like my body told her a story. Finally she gave me xrays and when I say xrays I mean like 7 different angles and images. I have been to over 6 chiropractic offices in Iowa where the Palmer school is and none have been this great. I have had xrays and no one saw I had broke my tailbone. Which when that happened no one believed me they said oh I bet you just bruised it. Such a warm, friendly feeling from the moment you walk in. Grace greeted us by name on our very first visit. Dr. Beth quickly won us over in the consultation, where she listened & asked plenty of questions to help determine the root cause & pain levels. She made us feel very comfortable & understood. I've been to a few chiropractic doctors and these professionals have it down! Coastal Chiropractic is awesome, friendly and a spacious place to go. They have separate rooms for exercise and spinal manipulation and quiet rooms, for having spinal electrical stimulation with either ice packs or heat packs. They have x-ray on location and able to show you what area is damaged before doing any treatment. They are also very flexible with times to treat you even if your running late or want to come earlier the day of you appointment. I am seen within 1 - 2 minutes of my arrival. They also had me adjusted for a tempur-pedic pillow for my neck. Awesome, professional and friendly. read more

No one wore a mask and after the consultation came the sale pitch for 3400 dollar price ticket. Not only was that a little pricey (the doctor sounded like he knew what he was doing) but only three options to pay full/half/ or monthly?? It's a pandemic out here and your really pushing a price like that then joke about it saying it's just a car note" well I paid my car out in cash because I hate payments , you lost my business, and I'll refer people to Watts Chiropractic.
