Now they say we probably left it out in the rain and broke it and won't replace it. Said we are lying and that's what everyone does when chargers break. Then, I called Stoltzfoos Batteries & Golf Carts where Ben answered the phone. Although it was fifteen minutes before their closing time and we were about twenty minutes away, Ben told us he would stay open for us and he told us not to break our necks getting there -- he would wait. We arrived after their closing time and Ben was there, waiting for us. Ben didn't try to rush us and he made us feel welcome and I felt that he really appreciated our being there. He walked us around his nice store with lots to look at and described everything in detail, justifying the differences in price of each golf cart. We could tell we were dealing with an honest man and we decided this was where we would buy our golf cart. We chose a great-looking, bright red, hot rod E-Z-GO RXV electric golf cart. Ben made our purchase painless and we walked out feeling great about spending our money there. Anything mechanical can break down, and sure enough, after a couple months we had a problem and our golf cart would not move. Of course, it was a Sunday, so just like every other business in this part of Pennsylvania, Stoltzfoos Battery & Golf Carts was closed. We left a message on their phone about the problem and where we had left the golf cart on the side of a campground road. First thing Monday morning, Ben called us and told us he would take care of the problem right away -- I had no doubt he was telling the truth. Tuesday morning, Ben called us to let us know that they had fixed our golf cart Monday evening and they had returned it to our campsite. What they did here goes way beyond what we would expect of the very best customer service. Again, our dealing with Stoltzfoos Batteries & Golf Carts was painless. Bought during off season in November 2022 and delivered to us April 2023 with a limited 90 day warranty. when we purchased we were told it was an originally older golf cart but every part was brand new. First issue we encountered was the parking brake stopped working. we drove it to their ocean view location to be repaired we. back to pick up was never fixed grinder it down still didn't work said well we will have to order it. second issue now out of warranty is suddenly there was no power errotted piece that was told by a friend takes years for this occur so the wires came undone to run battery to motor. next issue to occur the headlights stopped working the piece broke off and missing unable to determine if that was from west and tear or or became lose and fell off well now the ignition where the key goes in is completely loose that you are unable to turn it on without holding the ignition in place from behind. i have sent emails to their private email and facebook account without no response. i would highly recommend not doing business with this company. they lie and defraud you even though they seem sweet and are a family owned business. we are not experienced and don't know anything about golf carts so an inspection prior wasn't done. just be careful as they def did not hold their word to what they sold us!
